It's clearly in the blood!@Gone_and_Back My cheese ranking: Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Romano, Provolone, Piave Vecchio. See? Italian.
I think pecarino is now ruined for me.
Yea. Cheesecake and Montgomery Cheddar is rarely spoken of in the same paragraph... I also try to limit my dairy intake as well. Too many protein shakes and coffees as it is. Trying to be more balanced with my diet.My system doesn't always do well with dairy, it's saving me from myself because I'd eat as much cheese as you could put in front of me. When I hear the term "cheesecake" the first thing I think of is a cake made strictly from Montgomery Cheddars which I'm told is NOT the first thing you're supposed to think of.
Mai e poi mai! Basta.
Taleggio.. Fontina Val d'Aosta...@Gone_and_Back My cheese ranking: Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Romano, Provolone, Piave Vecchio. See? Italian.
I just got a nice triple cream Brie at Trader Joe’s yesterday! And some pita crackers to go with it…Alright, cheese and wine kinda Friday tonight. It's an open invite as long as you bring an amuse bouche.
It just started with a response to a comment in the thread and kind of spiraled from there.I won't say Stilton is a favorite of mine, but I can think of several cheeses I'd pick Stilton over.
Just in it for the personal satisfaction then?
I'm beginning to see a trend.
Nice. Now you just need a nice beer or wine to go with.I just got a nice triple cream Brie at Trader Joe’s yesterday! And some pita crackers to go with it…

Later tonight it's Cantillon Rosé de Gambrinus followed by cheese and wine time. To paraphrase Seal: "I compare it to a kiss from a rose..."What's everyone drinking for Thirsty Thursday? (Or Finally Friday if you're in the future?)
That is my learning lesson today. That means it's a great day.Speaking of durian, I learned from my Indonesian friend that Malaysian durians taste very different to Thai durians. With distinct flavour profiles. Apparently Thai durians are milder and sweeter and floral but Malaysian durians are creamier and more savoury... It was fascinating.
La croix. Wedding this weekend so I am holding off till Friday and Saturday. What's everyone drinking for Thirsty Thursday? (Or Finally Friday if you're in the future?)
