The "How Many Days 'Till Spring" Thread

This is just the loveliest beach in Hawaii. I could sure use some of that right now!

38 days til Spring ...BUT major snow storm heading my way to the Mid Atlantic USA. I will do my best to deny its existence.

Good morning LIG, off to work but wanted to say hello and wish you a good day.:)

I'm counting 46, but was never good at math. Here in the US, the Superbowl is over, so we're just left with the dark hole that is February with a distant light of hope in the distance, but many cold days between here and there.

Come on, even you folks that like winter have to admit this one has been rough.:)

37 days

:D

37 days, I think. Not sure. Delirious. Cabin Fever. BAD. 12 inches of snow PLUS on the way here. The stores are wiped out of what we call snow panic essentials - Milk, Toilet Paper and Bread. They also are reporting on the radio that the Home Depots are low on salt, and people are buying sand and kitty litter. That made me wonder.....does Home Depot sell kitty litter? And why is it always called kitty litter and not cat litter? We say "cat food", not "kitty food." Well some people say kitty food, but they're cat people. But you see? There. We say "cat people." We don't say "kitty people."

Anyway, I told you I was delirious! Cabin Fever. BAD.

I didn't even listen to the weather channel. I have no idea what is in store for me.
Won't that be a big surprise.

I thought you hearty Canadians just laughed this stuff off....Walked outside in your short sleeves and said "Bring it, Mother Nature!"

That's what we all down south here thought anyway. :D

Well of course we do. Also don't forget to pack the snow skiis on the roof of your car when you visit in July.:D

Ummmm, me up there in July? How about you visit here in July. I live where the Stars Spangled Banner was written. You could call it an educational trip. :)

I think seeing a nice waterfall is equally as educational. I will even let you use my umbrella.

Well, it's been so warm in London that the daffodils are coming up and things are starting to bud. The bad news is that we're underwater at the moment.

We've had similar winters in the past where the Cherry Blossoms in Washington have bloomed early when the warm temps fooled them. Not this year, however.

Good luck dealing with the rain.

36 days til Spring.....For everyone dealing with this big snowstorm along with me here on the East Coast of the USA, be strong, be careful and hang in there. This is supposed to be a bad one, but it should be in and out in 24 hours.

I went out and cleared the snow off my front porch in the hopes my Chihuahua would go outside and do his business. He gave it a look, but let's just say there will be dog pee in my house today.

Morning LIG, thanks for the neck massage.
I am off to work, have a good one my friend and be safe.

You forgot the tuna fish and frozen turkey that you have to cook when the power goes out ....lol

If I did that, two things would happen. One, he would have either a Canine Heart Attack or a Canine Stroke. Second, my wife and daughters would rain serious shit down on me for "being mean" to him, and I don't much feel like dealing.:)

Peanut butter and cheese whiz. Just not together. Oh, Damn! Forgot the crackers!
