Usually I don't mind that I'm single, I have been for the past 8+ yrs. I've had a few long term serious relationships, but not live-ins, because I'm a single again mom as well.

The times I miss the most....are those times, when drifting off to sleep in your signif other's arms, I can hear his heart beating in my ear, and I know all is safe in my world. The same in the early am, as I am beginning to stir, still not awake, but not quite asleep either...and I feel him pull me to him, arms wrapped around me, from behind. Has absolutely zip to do with sex, it's just a primal satisfaction, total body to body connection...!

That's what I miss the most! *sigh*.......now I'm a bit melancholy!

I completely understand that. I have to fall asleep with a pillow in my arms to make up for my non existant lover. Don't laugh please, it's completely true. Ever since I was a teenager I have had to have an extra pillow to get any sleep.

Sage...Not laughin here, cause I do the same thing! I have two pillows I squoosh together to psyche myself out too! Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't! LOL..and yet every night, I go thru the same pillow routine!
