I completely understand that. I have to fall asleep with a pillow in my arms to make up for my non existant lover. Don't laugh please, it's completely true. Ever since I was a teenager I have had to have an extra pillow to get any sleep.

Interesting I do that so my breasts don't get squished whe I lie on my side.

i'm feeling really down and lonely tonight. i miss being held and cuddled, sometimes it sucks being single. Does anyone else out there ever feel this way?

You know it is sad being lonely, But then again I suffer with it most of the time. Never having someone to hold gets real old... Oh well

Yes it is tons of fun, traveling and seeing new things, but it is hell on a social life. And those long nights really suck

Hello. Just wondering how everyone was holding up... just another weekend spent sitting around naked by myself... could be worse I suppose...

I so know that feeling, kinda feel that way tonight myself, I should be in bed, gotta work in the morning, but hate going to bed alone.

This is exactly what happens with me.... the lonliness takes over and it's almost unbearable. Bed alone is terrible, I often sleep on the sofa ~~

I hate to admit it, but there is no good way to look at truckin' the worst part is the long nights.. And the fact I have no time to meet someone dosen't help much..

I don't know about that ... I trucked around our country for 6 years ... the *real* reason I gave it up was because my family truly disliked me being out there. While it was lonely at times (and I was a hermit ... I'd pull into a truckstop & not wander into the building except for showers/restroom) I enjoyed the peace & quiet. I found that chatting w/ other truckers at shippers/receivers gave me my fill of human contact ... in *most* ways. Of course there was the lack of human touch - that was the worst.

I still think about going back out on the road - it got into my blood.

Well I usually avoid the truck stops, but yes I like the being able to talk to people when I am at the yards and customers. I am not saying that I don't love my job. I do love the travel and the freedom.
But the thing that makes me real lonely is these long nights driving the small two lane highways. I think part of it is because I really just don't have someone to talk too. But the lack of human touch is a big loss in my life I admit..
