The "other" New England thread where people are nice and everyone is welcome!!

Good evening everybody. It's another chilly night, so snuggle up and stay warm!:D

Staying warm is easy. ::smiles:: It's the finding someone to snuggle with that's tricky.

Good morning everyone! I can't believe what a beautiful day it is! Do me a favor, take a little walk for me, ok? Gosh, I'd love to go for a walk today. Oh well, springtime will come soon enough :) Everyone have a great day!

Hi Angel, good to see you hon. :rose:

Well.... what an interesting hour it has been.

I went to take a shower to clean up for the day ahead. (My hot water heater has been broken for two days and I was using a friend's facilities.... very frustrating.) I turned on the water and it was, quite literally, boiling hot. I was so surprised by this that apparently my natural reaction was to slip, fall backwards into the faucet and knobs... gash two large holes in my back, and nearly rip the plumbing completely out of the wall. Not to mention scalding my entire body in uncomfortably magmaesque water.

I clambered out of the bathroom and crawled to my bed where I have promptly collapsed on my stomach to avoid as much pain as possible from my horribly burned... pierced.... and spasming back.

Soo.... what else to do but post here to get my mind off it.

I now invite you all to laugh at my pain and comedic reaction in hopes that the sooner it becomes comical the sooner it will stop hurting.

::smiles:: Hope everyone else is having a far better day.

Omg Master, are you ok? Is anyone with you who could take a look at your back? Maybe you oughta go to the doctor. You wouldn't want it to get infected. You've got me all worried now. :( How badly burned are you? Did you hit your head at all? I feel so helpless not being able to do anything for you. :( How about a few :kiss:s to make it feel better?

Good day new england.....what a fine one it is.

Hey Mike!! Thanks for the bump!! It is gorgeous out today. Enjoy it, tommorow it's supposed to rain all day.

Yep...alot of rain coming our way. Monday too (at least in the morning). I guess we need it.

We certainly do need it. I wish we'd have a raging thunderstorm, or a hurricane, or a tropical storm. I love them, as long as noone is hurt, though. It's been forever since we've had a hurricane. I hope that tomorrow's storm is a good one. Not the kind that we've been getting; 10 miinutes and then it's done. Gimme a good storm!!!

Hello all

I wanted to check in and let you all know I am indeed still moving.

Went to the Emergency room. My spine is fine. (By half an inch)
Two ribs are cracked. (Much preferable to my spine)
No I have no one to take care of me but I have been managing by myself.
I have always been good at taking care of things.

Thank you all for the happy thoughts.

Now if only I can figure out how to get a shirt on so I can go scavenge for food. lol.
