Its snowing here in wonderland :)

Iara..time to do some baking! Do you do buttertarts? Shortbread?

JDU..if its a recipe..I cook it. Some even if they aren't recipes :)

I currently have a collection of around 50 cookbooks..give or take a few. Plus a box full of recipes handed down from my mama and grandma

OK.heres the deal... JDU get some firewood and build a warm fire.. Iara cook some food... we can all 3 eat, then cuddle by the fire... Anything you want me to bring or do?

I'm partial to some Lavulin whisky and some shortbread. :)

Hmm, and some Tuckermans beer .....

Now, the big questions remain? What is Iara going to wear and does she want to wear it all night:devil:

Do you prefer to follow the recipie..or to use the recipie as a base and put in a bit of this ..a bit of that??

Now Iara, does this mean you can really cook without referring to food or recipes? I bet you can get someone really hot:devil:

Hello everyone, just wanted to stop in and say hello. Hope you are all doing well. Its amazing how much the weather changes up here, its way too easy to get sick up in New England. Unfort, now that my job has changed, I am exposed to the elements a lot more than I am used to, Brrrrr.

Chewey

Hi Chewey. You got that right. I've been sick for 5 days now. I love my job in the spring, but it sucks working outside this time of year!

I think the worst part is the change of enviroments where I work. One minute it is warm, then it is freezing. Then it starts all over again lol. Last night it was not to bad, until early this am when we had an acid spill. Then we had to open up the bay door to get in some fresh air . It was a little nippy lol

Chewey

Yeah, that would be frustrating. At least I get used to the same weather all day, and kind of psych myself up for it.

That is what I get for running a receiving dock, HP, ideal conditions for Pneumonia lol

Chewey

Yeah, I am SOOOOO looking forward to going out and unloading flat trucks in the snow. woooohoooo. It is a lot of fun getting a forklift out of the snow and ice.

Chewey

Yeah, I can't wait to get out on scaffolding and side that house. I like it when the wind takes the siding like wings and whips you into the building. What a rush!

LOL that sounds like a blast to be had by all. No thanks on the scaffolding, it would not be able to take my weight.

Snow??

U know I think i am ready for the white stuff too! Lets get it going on!! Iara, where in N.E. are you from again????

Hey folks..Hi All.

We bought some ski equipment at a swap..so bring on the snow!

Of course, I need to get some snow tires to make it to a hill...but I spent my money on the skiis!

Iara..do you do mince or pumpkin pies for thanksgiving? Do you do a big dinner? I'm a canadian transplant, so I still haven't gotten into this coming holiday too much.
