is starting to listen to the deafening silence that has accompanied most of her monthly announcements. That she’s finally starting to accept that the stories she’s historically named winners aren’t fooling anyone.
PICKS: Congratulations to the OCTOBER 2009 Reader's Choice Award Winners! The bad news is we’re still getting most of the winners from categories like ROMANCE and SCI-FI.

Ain't it funny with all your self proclaimed greatness, your endless tallying of your votes and comments, and all the hissy fits you have, with all that, you still can't win even a monthly contest or a special contest.
Yeah, it's friggin' hilarious.![]()
ramps up the pressure. Christ, I love the broad, given her my best years, and now she’s pulling this?Well I’m finally beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. In fact I’m now quite optimistic that’ll I’ll be able to get a Summer Lovin contest story in on time.
But it’s been a struggle. A struggle that certainly hasn’t been made any easier by all the pressure coming from the PALACE. The e-mailed missives they’ve been constantly bombarding me with – “Where’s your story”, “Hurry up, you only have one week left”, “remember jim, your contract calls for a SLC entry”, etc., etc.
And I’d been doing pretty well. But then the story I'd started decided it didn’t want to end. Like here I’d been planning on a typical, brilliant, best selling scouries story of about 10,000 words but this mother was up over 14,000 words and no where close.
Meanwhile I’m getting threats that my September 1st ROYALTY check might be held up. WTF? That check shouldn’t be affected at all by the Summer Lovin contest. I know they’re just trying to play with my head but still…
So I figured I’d start another one. A quickie. Three to five thousand words. Except it all of a sudden didn’t want to end either. FUCK! Meanwhile the QUEENramps up the pressure. Christ, I love the broad, given her my best years, and now she’s pulling this?
Still I soldiered on. But not for the rich fat cats back in the palace. No I did it for the readers. Those people scattered from one end of the globe to the other. Kind people who’ve stuck with me through thick and thin.
Thanks guys! You’re my inspiration,
jim

Isn't it about time we jailed some of our fat cat bankers and brilliant entrepeneurs who are shipping American jobs to anywhere they can find some slave labor.
We believe it's time to get Americans back to work!!!

scouries;35213589 Did any of you know that the word [B said:babysitter is not allowed in a stories title on LITEROTICA? At least that's what the automatic response machine told me.
I didn't. And I've got to tell you that it's not that easy to come up with a new title on the spur of the moment. I was all set to push "SUBMIT" and the machine said 'wait one minute my friend jim. babysitting is no go'.
WTF? In the end I quickly put in another title off the top of my head and submitted the story. But on reflection I must say I'm not very hhappy.
Aren't "babysitters" one of the most popular scenarios in erotic writing? Is there an association of babysitters somewhere who've lobbied LITEROTICA to have "babysitter" banned from all titles?
And if so what next? Angry nurses and doctors? Teachers? Ministers? All protesting.
I did put a note with the story asking that the original title be reinstated. I'm just hoping they will.

’s. And thats a not very good sign…I wonder if anyone else finds it strange that these “Editor’s Choice” E’s so often go to “Editors” and not real authors? Killer Mudfin, another collector of E’s also falls into the same category.
Quite frankly ace, getting E’s for a couple of GAY category stories that didn’t even receive enough votes to be considered for a monthly prize doesn’t impress me that much.

(Shall we all go look?
(No, I didn't think so. And a HOW TO category story in which you continually hype LITEROTICA? C’mon man! Any hack couldn’t have turned out the little manual booklet you put out today (I was surprised you didn’t dedicate it to MANU).

QUOTE ace …entry by me was given a green E by the "queen"--the third one in less than a month?

I’ll be more impressed when you start getting acclaim from real readers. Get an A.I.R. Award or two and then you might catch somebody’s attention...
Or write a million seller (Christ even a best seller – 100,000 copies)…
Or get a story into the 1000+ VOTE CLUB…
Or even get into the 100+ COMMENT CLUB…
Only then will you be able to play in ScouriesWorld… it’s where the big boys play…
