The Trump Davos speech.

Succinct, well written and convincing.

China has made hay whilst the west watched, too busy with culture wars and the incessant election cycles.
The worst part is that China has used it's four year advantage in rare metal mining to gain something like a 95% monopoly in rare earth refineries which are uniquely favorable to centralized economies (as opposed to capitalism). The electric infrastructure alone requires an enormous govenment investment in specialized ultra=high voltage power generators. No private firm in the world would finance a project of this magnitude, there is simply no margin and the market is way too limited.

The United States has a miniscule ultrahigh voltage footprint, enough to refine rare earth minerals into supercharged magnetic couplers needed by fighter jets and submarines....less than 100 pounds per year.

Oh, we're playing that psy-op...?

kk - "These aren't the droids you're looking for... You can go about your business... Move along. Move along. Move along." 😄
Saint Ann? This you?

Playing the Hisarpy Sock Puppet game, are we?

The oxygen tent pals claim this is "succinct, well written, and convincing," which can only reflect that confirmation bias is real and well-entrenched on this thread. Mind, my analysis has been labeled "word salad" and "boolshit" by the same people praising your screed. But, who cares, as long as the echo chamber bobble heads - bobble, right...? Provided the pals do not experience cognitive dissonce, the rest is cream cheese👍

Sadly @RobDownSouth you have this largely bass ackwards. Trump (in his initial administration) was the first president to take the global constraint (vis-a-vis China's growing monopoly) of critical minerals as a direct threat to America's security/prosperity (I know that's extremely difficult for you to accept). Persistent environmental opposition to the mining of critical minerals (starting in the 1970s and peaking in the 1980s) resulted in the closing of several associated mines in the US.

However, the rising supply out of China (continuing into the 1990s and 2000s under Pax Americana, following the collapse of the Soviet Union) gave America ready and economically cheaper access to the critical minerals. However, global and political maneuvering by China in the 2010s (One Belt, One Road and the ongoing false annexation of the South China Sea) resulted in increasing American concerns regarding the supply.

These concerns were manifested in 2015, when China curtailed the supply of critical minerals to Japan, following a sea-related incident.

Bey hey, don't believe a word I type (see all the previous and colorful criticisms - ad hominen attacks, really - on me). Read the report for yourself (or exercise your ability to refuse to do so, as others have done before you) 📑
You’ve dropped all pretense that you’re independent. You’re proclaiming your support for Donald Trump with your whole chest.

A dumb cunt (and clearly NOT the fun kind found elsewhere on Literotica)... I'll quote Dirty Harry now, "That's mighty white of you," and grossly misogynistic.

I'll take a moment now, in advance, to thank all the other women on this thread (regardless of political affiliation) who denounce @Philthy_Phil's uncontested demeaning of females. Apparently, the left can practice stupidity on this topic as well as the right. Good on ya, mate 👍

On this sad note, I'm done here.
I see you've made acquaintance with Filthy Fil.

Moving on, Trump called the Eurofrats down on their energy policies. Once again he was prescient if you bother to recall the his warning to the Germans during his first term. The Germans now say they might have been 'hasty' shutting down their nuke plants, they will NEVER admit Trump was right.

The wealth of any nation can be measured by how much power they have access to and how efficiently they use said power. The Euro-nations were busily cutting their own economic throats trying to out virtue signal each other. Now they're playing catch up.

And Trump was also right on his observation of the Chinese selling windmills to anyone stupid enough to buy them and not bothering to waste their own money or time building windmill farms of their own.

What does this have to do with the price of tea in China on Tuesday...?

Such a bold claim should have a bold reference. Do you have a listing of all these Christian-inspired deaths (not a listing of serial killers, mind, but a listing noting their religious beliefs at the time of their murderous sprees)...?
I never said they were "Christian-inspired" deaths, idiot. Learn to read or fuck off.

You're worse than RFK Jr citing shit that never happened.

The Iraq invasion was a mistake, but that's a debatable point. The latest saber-rattling over invading Greenland (Or is it Iceland? Trump seems a bit shaky on the distinction. Sundowning?) is just weird.

The Iraq invasion had plenty to justify it imo, and the invasion itself was successful by any reasonable measure.

Trying to hold the place once it was ‘conquered’ with so few boots on the ground however was a huge mistake - it could only work if the Ba’athists who’d run the show for Saddam had been largely left in place. It would have been morally questionable, but would likely have kept a lid on things.

DonOld is a lying imbecile. And Racist5soul aka Shit4brains is a lying imbecilic shill for DonOld:

Search Assist

China indeed has the largest wind farms in the world, with the highest installed capacity of wind power. The country is a leader in wind energy, significantly contributing to global electricity generation.

😳 😑 🤣 🤬

And ANOTHER literal nazi (Racist5soul aka Shit4brains) gets punched in their lying fascist mouth.

👍

There's a damn good reason why ChodeBum never provides sources for his insane bullshit.

Difficult to accept, perhaps, because it is incorrect. Recognition of the strategic importance of critical minerals goes back to at least 2010, under Obama.

If Trump has a point he wants to make about European over reliance on US military heft, or their immigration policies then he could make those points and be well received by a lot, I’d say a comfortable majority, of European’s.

Not the arty/celeb/media/education blob and their tribe that dominate the noise….obviously they can’t stomach Trump any more than your own similar demographic and will oppose anything he says or represents based on herd instinct.

Outside that bubble Trumps lines can sell well in the street in Europe with people who can see the borders are porous, the welfare bill spiralling and life getting increasingly expensive if you have to work for a living, and housing costs out of reach…….whilst illegal entrants to the country are put up in motels.

Trump is pushing on an open door - but sneering at allies, being openly impressed by dictators power, endlessly repeating the same narcissistic narratives, brazenly lying about the numbers and the facts and treating the Presidency as a naked money making scheme - are all counter productive and as unnecessary as they are disgraceful. Nor is a Cabinet full of self servers and lickspittles a good look.

And you, amongst lots of others, no doubt knows it, feels it……but dare not speak it. The Emperors new outfit looks just fucking regal as far as you’re prepared to admit.

I don't even know what's going on anymore. Take a couple days off and you fall behind. I guess it doesn't matter. :)

A quick summary, the collective brain trust of this thread believe I am an alternate account of you - or a unknown guy banned previously, who's returned as a girl...? Regardless, it's alts all the way down.
You managed to grasp the overall situation here rather rapidly.

Let's see what you typed in direct response to my link listing the tens of thousands of people killed by militant Islam over the past, several decades:

"Serial killers are 94.7% white Christian males.
McVeigh wasn't Muslim.
Trump isn't religious at all."

Yes, you clearly implied that serial killers are Christian-inspired, PatheticAuto. Learn to comprehend or fuck off.
Your comprehension skills rival our small Korean mascot. There was no implication of anything. I was counter pointing your retarded mention of Islam in a thread about Trump's incoherent Davos Speech.
