At this point we know the orange traitor exercised / demonstrated willful intent and obstruction related to illegal possession of classified documents / government property at Mar a lago and elsewhere.

At this point we have no idea how the classified documents at President Biden’s office and home even got there, let alone that President Biden or anyone on his team exercised / demonstrated willful intent or obstruction.

The investigations ARE proceeding, BUT, at the same time, the narratives about both are being created / manufactured.

MESSAGING IS IMPORTANT.

Should President Biden and his team simply cede the political narrative related to the two VERY DIFFERENT investigations to “the new republicans” so they can conflate them or inflate President Biden’s culpability???

What Trump did has no bearing on what Biden has done. NONE. They are two separate things. Of course we have no idea if there was intent or obstruction, however at the very least there was negligence. By being negligent, figuratively speaking Biden and his people stepped on their collective dicks, hard. They gave the Republicans talking points to refute the "high road" narrative The Dems were using to good effect and refute it rather decisively. The died in the wool Dem supporters are going to verbally try to play a game of dodgeball, making excuses, motorboating it: but,but,but,but,but... That's why I was saying they need to keep their yaps shut. Too many excuses, too many WAGs about how it happened can do more harm than good.

Biden's staff knew shortly after Trump left the whitehouse that Trump had those documents. WITF wasn't a search done to make sure there weren't any in a place that could come back and bite Biden in the ass? Laziness? Negligence? Stupidity? Arrogance? All of those?

While it hasn't been the same thing as with Trump, the majority of the public isn't going to be looking at the nuanced differences. They are going to be looking at the fact that classified documents were found in the possession of Biden (or his staff) while the Dems are telling them that it was bad for Trump to have the same. And the more that turn up, the more the public is going to think it is the same. Messaging is important, but perception is more so. When something appears to be the same on the surface, most people can't or don't want to tell the difference. Most would kill a Corn Snake because they thought it a Coral snake. The same here, Biden is guilty of the same thing Trump was because on the surface it APPEARS to be the same. You don't tromp all over your dick without leaving shoe marks FFS.

I have heard a few specific OFFICIAL comments from President Biden and his press secretary. Merrick Garland HAD to make a few OFFICIAL comments.

Beyond that ^ there are politicians, pundits and individuals trying to shape / control the narrative.

Not me! I’ll accept the outcome, may not like the decision from the courts but when the decision is made I’ll accept it and move on. The Mueller investigation never went to court and Hillary was never prosecuted in court and I have heartburn with both.

Years ago I was working on a 'Star Wars' project. The where and what is unimportant. The heart of the project was based on a discovery made by a prominent Russian Physicist. His writings were posted on a cork bulletin board prominently displayed in the work area available to, maybe, 100 other researchers, all over stamped with "TOP SECRET". The reason for the display was a joke and we all laughed our asses off about it. You see that paper was a research paper presented at CERN the year before. It was all publicly available to anyone that cared to read it, and now download it. All you need is an interest and to know where to look.

The point is that our government classifies the most outrageous things. Information that they truly have no control over, but there is a group, somewhere, that as a matter of proving that they're on the ball breaks out their rubber stamp and stamps a classification on information.

That is not to say that there isn't information that shouldn't be classified. Merely to say that when you classify everything then the entire exercise becomes a joke. Just as making everything against the law does nothing more that create a nation of criminals.

I find it interesting that so many of those "classified" folders seized at Mar a Lago were empty. Just for the yucks of it I did a search online for folders of just that sort only to find that they're readily available. Maybe pricey for the likes of you or me, but for Trump it would be chump change. And as a point of interest those folders have no external indication of what the contents may be, purposely so and that means that the DOJ has NO idea as to what the contents of those empty folders were.

I also can't help but wonder if Trump, or someone in his organization, didn't purposely 'salt' those boxes of documentation with those empty folders. And if so, that would imply that the 'insider' was known and purposely led to believe that there was information there, or was a double agent? Either way if they did 'salt' those boxes with empty folders it was a brilliant move. And if they DID make such a move it would explain a few things, like why the DOJ is playing defense, why Trump is demanding it all be made public, and why the DOJ is fighting against that public exposure.
