I took what turned out to be an extended trip to Alaska and immediately upon my return I was informed of the death of a very dear friend and have since been involved with the disposition of his estate in CA. I am now at home and up to my ass in my own unfinished business and Winter snow.

It's not my fault they're short and up to their chins as a result.
You wait, the next thing we're going to see is an "equity" based law making it illegal for floodwater to be deeper than 6" so that those with minimal stature birth defects won't have to worry about drowning when crossing the street during the rainy season.
And of course the reason we're having the floods is because global warming melted all that snow you claim to be up to your butt cheeks in.
So, not believing you one little bit since you're clearly trying to be a drama queen about it.

I think you have more snow than I do right now in your Sierra Mountains 42 inches in the last 48 hours alone. Most of my local snow melt runs into the Salmon River which is the largest river system contained in a single lower 48 state. So, we bring no flood waters to mitigate the "drought" in California.
