Texas A.G. Dropped Suit Against Trump University. Trump Supported Him For Governor. Weird!

This isn’t the first time a Republican attorney general has wished an investigation of Trump University into the cornfield, either. In 2013, shortly after New York A.G. Eric Schneiderman launched his fraud lawsuit against the “school,” Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said she too would look into allegations of fraud against Trump University in the Sunshine State, but then that possible investigation quietly disappeared when Bondi decided there was nothing to investigate, no problems at all. By sheer coincidence, three days after Bondi mentioned she might investigate Trump University, a Trump-run foundation donated $25,000 to help with her re-election effort. At some point later, she discovered there was nothing to discover. And wouldn’t you know it, Bondi’s campaign just happened to be the only state attorney general race Trump contributed to in 2013.

Needless to say, it’s impossible to prove any quid pro quo between the investigations into Trump University being dropped in Florida and Texas, and Trump’s subsequent interest in supporting the campaigns of A.G.’s who made those investigations go away. Only a very cynical person would suggest such a fantastical conspiracy theory, so just chalk it up to coincidence, OK? We already know you should never ask unkind questions about Donald Trump, because they only cause trouble. Trump only does good things, and it’s a good thing nobody tried to sue Trump University in Florida or Texas.

Trump said he had bought off politicians, he just never specified why. And now you know!

Trump rants about ‘unfair’ judge’s ‘Mexican heritage’ in bizarre CNN interview

Keep digging, Donald.:D

GOP candidate Donald Trump doubled down on his attack of a judge overseeing a lawsuit against his “Trump University” venture, which has been described by critics as a scam, cannot be unbiased in the case because he is of Latino descent, CNN reports.

On Friday in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, in which Tapper asked multiple times whether Trump thought it was right to invoke the race of the judge involved, Trump didn’t back down.

“I think that’s why he’s doing it,” Trump said, when Tapper questioned him. He insisted he should have won the case and would have, if the judge involved weren’t Latino.

“I have had horrible rulings, I’ve been treated very unfairly by this judge. Now, this judge is of Mexican heritage,” Trump said. “I’m building a wall, okay. I’m building a wall. I am going to do very well with the Hispanics, the Mexicans.”

Tapper then cut him off and pressed, “So, no Mexican judge can ever be involved in a case that involves you?”

Trump insisted the judge, who is an American citizen hailing from Indiana, is biased because Trump has vowed to build a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border.

For instance, by definition, apathy means not doing anything, including allowing or permitting anything.

By whose definition? If you're not allowing or permitting something, you are taking action. That's not apathy. Sorry, I couldn't resist pointing out another idiotic post by you.

How Much Money Did Donald Trump Lose? Well, None Of The Important Money (His)

Over an 18-month period, Trump couldn’t turn a profit. The Shuttle had lost $128 million.

But Trump did have one thing in his favor: leverage over his creditors. In September 1990, he missed a $1.1 million interest payment and asked the bank to defer future payments.

“One banker told me, ‘He would take down the bank, he owes so much money,’ ” Nobles said. “ ‘We can’t afford him to fail.’ ”

In late 1991, about 2½ years after Trump had purchased the airline, Trump gave up control of his prize in order to get out from a pile of debt.

As part of the deal, Trump was no longer responsible for some $245 million in loans left on the shuttle airline. In addition, out of the $135 million that Trump had personally guaranteed, at least $100 million was forgiven, according to news reports at the time.

But you guys, he had a really good time.
No, Really, Donald Trump Really Loved Owning An Airline

At the end of the day, Trump maintains, he did not lose any money in the venture. And the only lesson he learned, he said, was that he knew when to walk away.

“I got out at a good time,” Trump said in the recent Globe interview. “I walked away saying, ‘I’m smart.’ It’s good to get great financing. . . . I felt successful. The market had crashed. I didn’t lose anything. It was a good thing.”

If you were not so idiotic, you'd realize every attempt to point out one by me is in itself one by you.

Umm, no. I can understand someone of your mentality thinking so, though. ;)

Yes, I noticed you didn't defend how not allowing or permitting something would be an example of apathy. :D

You understand how I am intelligent to think something that is correct, & wish you were the same.

Also, I noticed you were the only one to claim it wasn't, so I felt no need to explain something here that was understood by the majority.

Is there an English translation for that first sentence? (And are you, perhaps, texting on a cell phone while you're holding onto a rail in a subway car?) :D

Did you notice that no one has countered what I've posted about you either? I'm pretty sure they are way beyond paying any attention to your nonsense. You don't even come across as an English speaker, so maybe they aren't bothering to try to figure out what you post. I only remarked because your statements were so laughably self-contradictory and juvenile.

My sentences are simultaneously in English, & neither of the terms you use to describe them in the last sentence.

Also, I have noticed they have not countered what you claim about me. As I posted in this thread, it is b/c they feel no need to counter it finding it quite clear it is only your opinion.

"simultaneously in English?" Simultaneously with what? Again, are you a non-English speaker? Or just dumb as a rock. :D

With the thing I wrote after the ampersand.

Oh, & no, I am not as dumb as the object that's still smarter than you.

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen is why we can't have nice things."

Rather than discuss the issues raised, even poorly or less than eloquently, there is a general tendency to belittle and go all Grammar Nazi, purposely misinterpreting anyone with a differing opinion in order to refute their opinions.

Let's face it. Not everyone has the precision of language or typing skills that they need. We need to show a little tolerance for errors in language and ask for a better explanation rather than just saying, "STFU Dumbass!"

Except to some who I have on iggy and haven't added anything worth wile to the conversation in years.

Really can't we at least be civil to one another?

Maybe, but if we're not going to discuss Trump, at least we can do so with someone who's on the same intelligence level as he & his supporters!

Sorry, I don't plan on dumbing myself down to your level. :D

And I've discussed Trump a lot on this thread. It seems the Trump discussions have died down a bit, though, as fewer and fewer are stomaching him so it's become or a less a cataloging of whatever outrageous thing he's said that day.

CNN pundit rips conservative black pastor: You’re OK with Trump making you his ‘political pawn’

CNN commentator and former Blaze TV co-host Tara Setmayer laid into Pastor Darrell Scott on Friday for defending Donald Trump’s remarks regarding a black supporter.

“You’re trying to act like you’re not aware of the racial climate in America,” Scott said during a discussion on Out Front with Erin Burnett. “The only reason I stand out as a Donald Trump supporter is because I’m black.”

“Apparently,” she shot back. “According to Donald Trump.”

The exchange concerned a speech by the GOP candidate on Friday, in which he told supporters, “Look at my African-American” to start an anecdote describing what he said was a positive reaction among black voters.

Scott, who was part of a group of black pastors that endorsed Trump earlier this year, described the statement as Trump’s attempt as a “term of endearment,” while Setmayer, who is also black, accused conservative Trump sympathizers of succumbing to “Stockholm Syndrome.”

Trump wants to gain a few token blacks and Latinos he can point to, but don't take offense when he rails against the "Thugs in the street."

By the way, Jack, you're not really discussing anything about Trump; you're just doing data drops.

Granted they're fun data drops, but you don't really do much discussing of anything.

Well I think they say pretty much what I think so why add more useless verbiage to the screen clutter.

Nor do I divert the subject of the threads by ad hominim attacks on period or comma usage.
