Trump

I was keeping a list of people who endorsed Trump. Nixonian of me I know, but the man is basically unqualified by experience and disqualified by disposition. I don't trust the judgement of anybody who doesn't see that and speak against it.
Also track the wafflers who endorse Trump one week and unendorse him the next. Mark Kirk and Paul Ryan for starters.

Floundering Trump campaign sends out ’emergency’ email to raise $100,000 by end of the day

Chump change for a Billionaire, you'd think?

Setting their sights low, the campaign of presumptive 2016 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump sent out an “emergency” email Saturday morning with a goal of raising $100,000 by the end of the day — for a campaign that is expected to cost in the hundreds of millions.

With the Clinton campaign launching a multi-million dollar ad blitz at Trump in the wake of his ill-timed comments on the Orlando shooting, the Trump campaign is making an appeal to Republican donors at the same time that the party appears to be shunning him.

According to the email, “Right now we’re facing an emergency goal of $100,000 to help get our ads on the air. We need your contribution by 11:59 P.M. tonight,”

The email continues, “Crooked Hillary is about to invade your TV with ads attacking Mr. Trump. But we’re preparing to fight back,” adding Trump has plans to attack Clinton over Benghazi and the FBI probe into her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state.

Desperately seeking monetary support for his campaign.

Latest polls
Clinton 44%
Trump 38%

Bernie 54% in last polls I saw.. Of course the Demo's will never pick a winner, not when 'It's Hillary's turn in the barrel."

Only when referring to who to aim the gun at... I haven't seen a lot of articles about a lot of different things against Bernie, perhaps largely b/c people don't expect him to win the Dem nomination at the convention...

For (it seems) months, Bern has beta Trump by a larger margin in polls, & had less evidence & things come out against him.... It seems a no-brainer to put him as the Dem choice, but many people in power positions for the Dems are also Dums, so it will never happen.

Paul Ryan Threatens To Sue Donald Trump As The GOP Ship Continues To Sink

In a Huffington Post interview, the Republican Speaker Of The House threatened to sue Trump if he is elected and abuses his executive powers:

On the topic of Trump’s proposed Muslim ban and his statements that he could enact such a policy without Congress, Ryan noted that Republicans were releasing part of their agenda on executive overreach that very day, and, in news that’s sure to please Trump, Ryan suggested that he and the House of Representatives were prepared to sue a Republican president if need be.

“I would sue any president that exceeds his or her powers,” Ryan said.

It’s unclear, however, if Ryan thinks Trump enacting a ban on Muslims entering the country would actually exceed presidential powers. “That’s a legal question that there’s a good debate about,” Ryan said, pointing to the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act.

Speaker Ryan was following Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s lead with a claim that he can control Trump. Elected Republicans are trying to reassure voters that they will be able to keep their potential president’s crazy in check.

Good Luck with that Paulie.

Trump lashes out at GOP — threatens to stop fundraising if they don’t rally around him

Donald Trump spoke out Saturday against some Republicans trying to thwart him, calling them "an insurgent group." The New York real estate mogul also threatened to stop fundraising if the Republicans don't rally around him.

Trump's comments come amid his bid to get support from those who did not back him during the primary season, but his efforts appear to be running flat with the GOP national convention just a month away. The presumptive Republican nominee referred to "an insurgent group" trying to deny him delegates at the party's July convention.

"Now you have a couple of guys that were badly defeated and they're trying to organize maybe like a little bit of a delegate revolt," he said. "I thought they already tried that."

As the July 18-21 convention in Cleveland approaches, the “Anybody but Trump” movement, which is leading an effort to stop Trump from becoming GOP presidential nominee, would try to change party rules. The move comes as opinion polls indicate that Trump’s popularity is waning.

AbT party forming on the left! Well left of the Teahadddists anyway. :)

How long will Trump keep up his charade of not being a Clinton Red Herring?

Trump cannot win........................he cannot win, he cannot win!

My god, give it up people, just let it run its course.

We get Hillary.............although, when Trump starts to attack the Clinton Foundation, all shit is going to break loose. This, I can't wait for, that is, if Trump gets the nomination.

Its just so bizzare what is happening.....

Ryan is such a gutless, nervous nelly, I mean, I just can't make heads or tails of that guy. I do believe there will be a fight at the convention, and Trump knows it....he may not come out of it with the nomination.

Ryan is odd in that he was chosen specifically because he was sane and now that's a bad thing. Remember how he essentially told the party "I won't be the Speaker unless" and he gave them a list of demands they obviously wouldn't meet. . .and then they did?

There are no Obama slaves that need anything... What we need more of is/are hangings (like on "Underground" or "Wayward Pines", where they call them "reckonings") to get rid of idiots like you, who can't stop complaining about things (whether those things are true or not), but take no actions of their own.

Also, we will get a Trump nomination... Only wish I had a way to make the short trip to the convention & change that once I got there.

The more I hear/read about Ryan, the more I wonder if he's related to Tim Ryan, idiot Congressman from my area.

Bush Backer Ana Navarro: "If We Tried To Have A Coup In Cleveland -- We Would Get Slaughtered"

On CNN's "State of the Union," former Jeb Bush surrogate Ana Navarro discusses the meeting she attended last week hosted by Mitt Romney.

"We've known her for 30 years," Navarro said about Hillary Clinton. "She's been in the public life for a long, long time -- and the truth is, and I think a lot of people, a lot of politicians feel we have to make the lesser of the bad choice. It's a difficult choice."

Host Dana Bash follows up with Navarro -- Is this what was discussed at the "Romney Retreat." "To Jeffrey's point -- there might be a lot of people who aren't thrilled with Donald Trump but you can't replace somebody with nobody. Was there any talk of an alternative, maybe Mitt Romney wanting to jump in again?

"At this point it would just be an impossible mission," she responded. "It's really too late --even for Mitt Romney, who does have the ability to raise money, who does have a network. I think there is a will, but not a way... I think Jeff is right, if we try to have a coup in Cleveland we'll get slaughtered... We've got two choices, do we get slaughtered in Cleveland or do we get slaughtered in November. It is a bleak scenario for [Romney] Republicans."

When you're right, you're. It's Trump and... defeat in November.

But it's not all bleak in GOP ville, HRC is a Republican, of sorts.

19 May 2016

For the last eight years, congressional Republicans have been quite explicit in declaring their legislative mission to be sabotage.

Senate leader Mitch McConnell spelled out that his key objective in 2010 was to make Obama a one-term president.

Driving that was a disdain for the very business of compromise, for negotiation, for the balancing of interests and making of deals – a contempt for politics, in fact.

So if large numbers of Americans have concluded that representative government doesn’t work, that’s hardly an accident: one political party has set about ensuring that it doesn’t work.

They don’t have to win to change the way our world works. They don’t have to win to make the public mood more sour, to turn majorities against those minorities who are most vulnerable, to make us doubt the possibility of collective action, to make us cynical about the possibility of truth.

The billionaire reality TV star doesn’t even have to become president – for we are already living in the age of Trump.

Donald Trump accused of raping 13-year-old in federal lawsuit

A woman filed a federal lawsuit in New York on Monday alleging that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump raped her in 1994 before threatening to harm her and her family if she talked, the Gothamist reported.

According to the woman, identified in court documents as “Jane Doe,” she met Trump at several parties in the Upper East Side thrown by billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s.

The suit alleges Trump and Epstein lured the then 13-year-old and several other young women to the parties with promises of modeling careers and cash.

According to the allegations, Trump tied her to a bed and exposed himself and raped her, while ignoring her pleas to stop. The suits states Trump “responded … by violently striking Plaintiff in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted.”

“Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed,” the plaintiff alleged.

Another woman, identified in the documents as “Tiffany Doe,” supported the allegations, saying she met Epstein at the Port Authority, where he hired her to seek out and recruit other young women for his parties.

I wonder if Hillary's PAC's a paying the for the law suit?
