Unlike present scientific method, where you start with a conclusion, and work your way backwards to "prove" your "theory", ignoring all data that does not match your conclusion, or faking it to fit....

Theories can be normative and prospective. Other scientists such as Olivia Judson and Eugene Scott found his theory to be inappropriate. It was also known Dr. Darwin knew little of family heredity. So yes I do know the meaning of not just the word theory but, also my statement.

They found "Darwinism" to be an inappropriate term for modern evolutionary theory. In other words the original theory has been improved by modern discoveries. That's science...

You and I know scientific theories throughout history has been proven and disproven. Scientific philosophies are at times proven incorrect or argued with time. As technology improves and we get to go in deeper into genetic code and fossils who knows what might be the next theory.


In making my point I also, lost the argument. Theories are more than mere opinion. Scientific history to those of Religious faith are highly unpopular. Thanks I enjoyed my first scientific debate on lit. Keep on challenging me I enjoy using my mind.
