Hmmm, Donald Trump didn't manage to mention the USS McCain casualties at all tonight in his Phoenix speech. He did manage to slam a senator of his own party by that name in his own state, who is dying of cancer, though--and said he was being very presidential while he did it.

"Janes" representitive in Singapore has advised that the place where the collision occurred is a regulated 'two lane marine highway' with all traffic to travel either side of a designated line supposedly in a particular direction. He further advised that radar tracking indicated that the McCain was moving across both lanes at an angle of 45 to 50 degrees slightly against the oncoming tanker.
He declined to apportion blame, but suggested that the facts should speak for themselves.

I think all these fuckups by the Navy are a ruse by Trump to lure the North Koreans and/or those Godless Russkies into provoking one of our ships. I think they are the result of 8 years of social experimentation, promoting social warriors who know nothing about warfighting, the mass firing of competent generals and admirals who actually knew how to run the military. Remember under Obama his Navy surrendered a vessel to the Iranians without a fight despite having the means to defend themselves. I think we have years of hard work ahead of us in returning discipline and fighting spirit to a great part of our present officer corps. Highly disciplined special operation forces aren't enough to defend the nation.

Insurrectionists deserve little else. They aren't "innocent protesters." They're trying to bring down the nation. Masked individuals assaulting officers with deadly weapons need to be shot on sight. Private citizens facing mob action ought to be able to use deadly force to ensure their safety. Arsonists starting fires on private and public property need to be shot on sight. Only when deadly force is in play and existing laws on "justifiable" homicide enforced, will this shit be brought to a standstill.
