I need a clever idea where guy wins radio contest to meet his fav r&b singer Ashanti. Guy must be white though

White guy 'Joe Blow' is obsessed with Ashanti, even with all the jokes given by his pals...

A radio contest is announced in which someone has to call in and answer a triva question about Ashanti... The winning gift will be a Valentine's Day Date with Ashanti!

'Joe Blow' isn't the first caller, but luckily the triva question is difficult enough that none of the other callers get the answer right...

'Joe Blow's' turn and he nails it...

The Pals have suddenly stopped joking with him!

'Joe Blow' goes on the date with Ashanti.... She becomes flustered and flattered with all the things he knows of her... finally dinner is over and she invites him to a dance club with her... he accepts and things get hot and steamy out on the dance floor because this white guy can dance!

IIRC, Eros/Cupid is married to a woman named Psyche, who, thanks to Aphrodite/Venus is stuck in perpetual sleep (he comes to her in dreams).

How about, while talking shop w/ a love/lust/fertility-god/dess from another pantheon, he discovers that, on the day when his power is greatest (Valentine's Day of course), he can wake her w/ a 24-hour fucking session.

He's all excited about this, but he needs someone to fill in for him. So he cons a bunch of other deities or maybe a few mortals into doing it.

Unfortunately, the replacements are either too inexperienced or rusty to handle things properly, or have somewhat odd attitudes about love & lust, & hilarity ensues.

For further hilarity, arrows can not only induce attraction between different people, but can change sexual orientation or fetishes.

Hijinks can be interspered w/ CVupid making love to Psyche.

Okay I might do this or I might not but anyway heres the idea: There a mother and a daughter. The mother is recently divorced (let's say for nearly a year.) Valentines day has always been one of her favorite holidays but now that she's divorced she's getting depressed as the day draws nearer, especially since the winter holidays are taking a toll on her emotions. Because she hasn't dated in a long while the mother isn't sure how to get back into the dating scene. Friends set her up on blind dates but all of the unmarried 40 something men she happens to go out with have baggage or eccentricities and she just doesn't want to deal with that. A few months before the "Big Day" she decides to try an online dating service (she figures she can't do any worse than she's been doing already.) Enter the daughter she finds out that her about her mother trying the online dating thing and she's afraid her mom will end up hurt either emotionally or quite possibly physically. The daughter doesn't trust online dating services and so she devises a plan. She begins to talk to her own mother on line pretending to be a man, the daughter fully intends to find a man to date her mother, she's actively looking for one that will be suitable when her mother begins to show just how kinky she can be while online. The daughter begins to fantasize about her mother, she's freaked out but gets past that quickly enough. Two weeks before V-day the daughter reveals that she is a woman and not a man. The mother is angry but then realizes that despite the gender of the person she's been talking to she is falling for this person based on their compassion and personality. Since she hasn't met a man that strikes her fancy she decides that meeting this woman wouldn't be that bad, and the woman clearly likes her so why not? They continue to cyber and so on and finally they plan to meet on V-day. Now the daughter doesn't know what do. As the date approaches she gets nervous and anxious especially when she's in her mother's presence. She slips up and repeats a phrase that she's used online but never in her mother's physical presence. The daughter thinks nothing of it but her mother catches the turn of phrase and knows that the woman she's been talking too and falling for is her little girl. She's in too deep to even fully consider the doubts she might have otherwise had. The daughter almost chickens out of the date but figures that she'll meet with her mom and explain everything rather than stand her up. She tries once or twice to tell her mother the truth before the "date" but her mother always inturrupts. Not wanting to embarass her mother in a crowded resturant or confess in a busy place the daughter goes to her mother's house an hour before the "date" is supposed to take place. Her mother knowing her child and anticipating her actions has a lovely dinner arranged... That should be enough to build a story around eh?

depends who you ask. I suspect you wil get some low votes from people who acces the story off the contest index, not suspecting it is darker than typical. This wil be reduced if you extend t6he story out more than one Lit page, as most disappointed readers will not click to page two to vote.

I however think a well written bloody tale might work. wasn't there a bad movie with denise richards along those lines?

I'm not talking outright horror. I'm talking about a deceased lover coming back to haunt her partner. In a sort of sad way.

might it fit under Romance then? though labelling it such might also mislead readers and I find that misled readers turn viscious. Sounds like a promising theme though. I saywrite it and let the chips fall....

Speaking of Denise Richards...how about Valentines pregnancy stories?

One version is the impregnation tale. The challenge would be why the couple picks Valentines Day to invite the surrogate sperm depositor "in"...maybe it happens coincidentally, like the guy they have discussed for weeks suddenly passes out at a V-Day party, and wife decides to ride him as he sleeps?

Other versions might be the attractiveness of pregnant women. Ideas?

Variations/ scenes:

~ the guy who always had fantasies about 'doing' a teacher on her desk
~ the parent who really really wants the kid's grade to improve, and will do ANYTHING
~ the frumpy schoolmarm who meets the Adonis Dad, but how she nails him I'm not sure

~ the overhyper Mom who brings treats to the teachers, and one male teacher gives her something in return
~ the student so mortified by the whole thing that she screws everybody, including a parent or two
