There's not an official "group" but we're out here. I think there's a little less than a dozen who frequent this site, unfrotunately most are guys. Hee hee, we need more women in Oregon, Washington too.
I bet there's a bunch from Portland and Seattle and places. I bet this could be the start. We could form our own little group. A lit group!

I've seen other folks try to put together directories for Oregon and Washington before, but they didn't get very many responses and promptly dropped out of sight. Anyways, this 39 year old NE Portland male would like to start a dialogue with local women. I understand that swapping e-mail and PMs does not mean we are going we are going to get it on. I do have a little bit of a wild side, but am very average and normal for the most part.

Why the Shyness.
Perhaps we're not all shy. I should not presume to speak for all local Literoticans of my gender. I can tell you why I'm shy, however.
Even though it is nearly 2002 I fear for my reputation. I know that sounds very Victorian, but that's what it amounts to. I'm your age. (born 1974) I'm married. I've only ever slept with one person. But there is a side of myself that I hide from the polite world I live in. A passionate wanton side. I have fantasies of being with another man. I've been honest with my husband on this and he is very open to the idea so long as I'm careful and give juicy details later. However, there is a huge leap between fantasy and reality. I'm not sure if I'll ever make that leap. I'm a very conservative person. In an online medium I can explore the fantasy in relative safety. Yes, it's safe, but sort of weak and unsatisfying. I do enjoy reading about more adventurous people than myself though. I get some vicarious thrills here.

I too, am in a similar situation. I'm in my mid 20's, married, and love my wife very much. I also understand that there are other things in life though. I am kind of curious about them, and would like to explore the possibility of them, with other people who understand.
As for the technical aspects of this list, I'm sorry, I am also a little new to the whole thing. I guess we can all learn together as we go.
