Not really -- got off the phone with a client who has successfullly moved into "couldn't ya just" mode on his project. This is the pain in the ass phase of some projects -- especially those where you accepted a contract price WAY too F_____ low in the first place. Just delaying the inevitable here but wanted to -- hell this is no way to carry on a conversation.

We'll work it out. :kiss:

Thanks BDoll -- it's really not that bad. Just that it cuts down on the time I have here. This sort of thing happens all the time. That's why I have a name for it: The "Couldn't You Just" phase.

Here's how it works -- you work your ass off on a project and provide world-class work. The client receives the deliverables and, according to the standard contract, reviews them for acceptability before completing payment. The words uttered inevitably are:

"WOW, this is REALLY GREAT!!! I LOVE IT!!! Now, Couldn't You Just . . . . . "

everything that follows after just isn't truly that -- just that is. HAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I know the phrase well....
being a portrait photographer and doing my own touch-ups,
corrections, etc, I hear that ALOT.
Such as "Oh you did such a wonderful job getting the red-eye out... but see that little speck of glare over there? Could ya just...." You gotta love it when that little speck of glare is so faint and won't be seen from under the FRAME they put it in... but oh well

I don't know why I thought I was the only one who used that phrase heheh
