In the last couple of years, I have gained entirely too much weight...approximately 35lbs. I thought my back was screwed up and recently found out that it wasn't. It is time to get back into shape and I would like to document my progress on here if that is okay with everyone. The last time I was here, as Gi_Joe, everyone was very nice and supportive. I am hoping that I will again have the support of all of the good people here. I started this week at 191lbs...my weight when I was fit was 160lbs.

Thank you.

I offer my services... free.

... but not like that :p

I just picked up a 2nd job as a Kickboxing/Fitness Trainer, and would love to have an off-duty workout buddy.
I invite you to PM me and we can figure out how to help you get to where you want to be.

PS: I understand that women appreciate a man who can do laundry; but it will really catch their attention to see a mann do it himself on his own washboard abs ;)

Awesome! Thank you! I am going to start running along with the weight training that I have started this week. The first thing that I am doing is trying to get my core solid before going too far. I don't need to throw a disc out of place again. I will definitely P you and ask for advice workout plans, etc... I really appreciate it. I used to be a Physical training leader in the AF for a couple of years before my back got thrown out of whack.

IM in the same way, Im trying to lose weight I put back on. I was down to 260 and back up to 284. I use a nice website and app to help me. Love it. message me if you want it.

I've lost 55 pounds. The last ten after I hit plateau and then joined weight watchers. I still need to lose 45 more. It can and will be done.

I have to get more active. All of mine loss has been through diet change - not dieting, just changing from bad shit to good food.

yea that is what that is, just a calorie counter, with boards and stuff like that.

I invite PMs for any who want to...

No need to be exclusive here. I happen to have a day job as a fitness trainer, and I am more than willing to help anyone who is looking to better themselves. PM me and I will help anyone work towards a fitness goal. I am actually interested in trying Skype one-on-one workouts, for any who want to:)

Naked one on one workouts? ;) I'm teasing.

Been busting my ass today to make up for the last few I've had to take off. Burned 455 calories in 40 minutes.

hands in the air, please

Who is getting closer to their goal so far?

Well, I'm not sure yet! :p Weigh in is on Tuesday morning.

Every other day is an hour of kickboxing and elliptical- then off the clock are abs and arms. The other days are 40 minute kickboxing days.

It's good to see folks getting serious about this. I didn't until I had a heart attack, no permanent damage done but it woke me up. Changed diet and lost 40 lbs, - blood pressure down to good levels, cholesterol levels down to great levels. Two years later the weight is still off and off meds. A good diet made all the difference for me, there's several good and easy resources for good diets.

I have a feeling Saturday's weigh in is not going to be to my liking. But I keep plugging away.

Hey guys..this sounds like a good place for me. I have been doing my own thing and liking the positive changes so far....good luck everyone..I know we can do it.
NO MORE EXCUSES is my motto.:)

Jameslewis you rock !!

Happy birthday :)

Curious how everyone is doing here. I am down 2lbs this week and am pretty happy with that. I have been lifting weights too, so I am sure that will help tone and strengthen some long forgotten muscles.
