Hot Damn!

I won!

Okay, but you know Ruby does constantly flirt. Who doesn't know that about her? She never, ever stops. Cym said her opinion of Ruby. You think she's not allowed to say that Ruby never stops flirting?

Go read Ruby for a week and see for yourself. Or just read the above post she made.

I think this is just another way for people to jump down cym as if every single act of her saying something somebody dislikes as a grand opportunity for the same broken records to start playing.

Ruby in a different mood may have replied something akin to, "Yeah, I'm a slut and a whore, so can I flirt here?"

Why isn't cym allowed to have an opinion as well as moderate?

Laurel and KM both show their true opinion often enough, does anybody jump on them the way they do cym? It's like a shark smelling blood, this is never going to end until cym begins to reply like a robot programmed to leave all of her opinions at the door.

Or is that the entire point?

con·stant Pronunciation Key (knstnt)
adj.
Continually occurring; persistent.
Regularly recurring: plagued by constant interruptions.
Unchanging in nature, value, or extent; invariable. See Synonyms at continual.
Steadfast in purpose, loyalty, or affection; faithful. See Synonyms at faithful.

n.
Something that is unchanging or invariable.

A quantity assumed to have a fixed value in a specified mathematical context.
An experimental or theoretical condition, factor, or quantity that does not vary or that is regarded as invariant in specified circumstances.

Just a reader, I have 32 posts on this thread, one of them being flirtatious.

I "never, ever stop"?

Before you go around making such bold proclamations, maybe you should pay better attention, or do some research. Then again, what did you have to lose, since you didn't post under your registered name, right?

Your perception of me does not match the reality of who I am.

I dont give a flying fuck if all Ruby did was offer to go down on posters.

If thats what she wanted to do,then thats her right.

If I want to come here and offer my body to anyone that offered, than thats my right.

I happen to follow Ruby around these boards. I gots the hots for her. And I am not even Bi.

She flirts, but then so does everyone else.

Get over it.

Flirting does not equate a low IQ.

*Nobody* ever said flirting equals a lower I.Q. That's just a strange stretch to make, alltogether.

And this isn't about Ruby liking to flirt. Sure she flirts. In fact, she's an equal oppertunity flirt queen across the board. And many do, as well.

This is about cym being allowed to have an opinion just as you or I do. (registered or not, humans have opinions; funny, that)

Sometimes Ruby, one never knows how they look (are perceived)through other people's eyes.

people can have any opinion they want...........just let Ruby flirt........made my day............ok, so I'm easy

If you think I give a rat's ass about what you, cym or anybody else here who doesn't really know me thinks about me, you're sorely mistaken.

Just as you don't seem to care that the majority of members here think that people who have to hide behind the face of unregistered to voice an opinion, is a coward.

See how that works, babe?

Ruby

please take this in the spirit in which I am writing it. Those who know me, know I would never use the forum to be catty or unkind to you or anyone, else.

Enjoy the attention, even from the trolls. Obviously, you have pushed some buttons here, so don't take these things said as a personal attack. Unless someone knows you, there is no way they can attack you personally.

Just enjoy the fact that you have made an impact on some and smile at the attention you are getting.

Sincerely,
Rose:heart:

Q:

Q: What's your vested interest in this, Unregistered?

As I see it:

It was clear that Cym was trying to shame/push Ruby off the Forum and over to the Playground ...to "flirt"elsewhere.

Cym would apparently like this place that she started to conform to her vision I guess; fair enough.....not enough to write anything in depth for a sticky....but enough to slag those she finds threatening, I gather.

To me, it's just a big thread. Bits on a screen. Hardly a huge accomplishment for her....it's the users that make it sink or swim.

Ruby and others basically said "Whoa, Cym....everyone flirts here, what's the BFD?"

From there, it took off and, for some, became personal.

Me, I'll post whatever I want, wherever I want. I stay within the Rules of the forum and general Netiquette.

You, being obviously someone we'd know if you revealed yourself, are clearly outside the bounds of Netiquette....so you really don't deserve a reply, as you are a troll, flame-bait.

You obviously have an axe to grind...care to share?

If not.....bugger off.

Cheers;

Lance

This doesn't seem to me to be a particularly hard knot to untangle.
Ruby has every right to flirt, although she is certainly much more than just a flirt.
Cym has every right to voice her opinions, although she has imparted much of value besides her personal feelings.

A very wise (and handsome!) man posted recently that it would be best if each of us put more consideration into what we have to say, and a little less into worrying over the words of others. I've taken that advice to heart, and it has made my time spent here more pleasant, and I hope, more productive for myself and others.
Ruby and cym are two of the people I have the most respect and affection for on this board. I wish both of them nothing but the best.

Damn. Y'know, I leave this place a few days, and it gets all interesting and shit.

Erm, I wanna be the first to say: "I told ya so!"

Lance, you're totally wrong about the moderators. Yes, cym is highly immoderate, but so what? Yes the sticky is basically an exercise in hypocracy, but we've established that. (Although you should feel free to keep saying it, to remind people.)

The point is, the moderators hold a position without Authority. I mean, yes, their names are on the top and everything, but besides that, what?

They're just like everybody else.

They're free to express their opinions, and WILL DO SO, which is a good thing. I LOVE open and frank discussions. And drama. There's nothing more boring than huggy and kissy threads. If I wanted that I'd hang at the playground. I come here for the IN YOUR FACE righteous indignation, theatrical denials, and general mayhem and down and dirty power politics.

Telling cym she has to be moderate to be a moderator is silly. She ain't gonna do it. She is who she is. Love her or hate her, she'll continue to moderate in the same old fashioned way.

Moderators here have no special authority. They don't get paid and they can't delete posts.

They're just like everybody else.

I have no expectation that Cym will ever change her approach, Sandia.

No more than anyone should expect me to change mine.

Vive la difference!

Thanks, Ruby....I attribute my buffness to all the clean living I do.

Feel free to objectify me as you like....just don't flirt with me for my cock-meat, okay?

You'll get us another bagful of "shush" from the Librarians.

I'm more than just another god-like cream-spurting multiple-O producing sex-machine, you know.

Hey....If the two of you want to exercise your rights.....I'll perform flying fucks all night....you'll think I'm Rocket J. Fucking Squirrel, only with Moose parts.

Because I care about your rights.

I really do.

And I'd like to nurture them.

A most excellent new av, btw, lovetoread! Most beguiling.

Lance, you make me smile and laugh.

Thank you.

I agree, Love looks mysteriously beautiful in that picture.

A Lovely Trend

You're welcum, Roob.

Yes, lovetoread has a good looking eye there...and I'm guessing that it's not of Irish extraction.

I'd just like to take a moment to acknowledge and honour the recent trend of women posting AV's that give me a peek at their lovliness.

Rose, Ruby, lovetoread are three recent examples.

I like grrls. Like em a lot. They're pretty, soft and smell nice and have parts that interlock with mine. And those breast thingies too. They're fun.

Thank you.

Lance

I agree with this portion of your post exactly, Sandia.

Premise: Moderators should remain neutral and objective.

According to whom? Not the owners of this board, who are emphatic about allowing anyone to post whatever they want, within legal and safe limits. Moderators ARE regular posters.

The thread in question still exists. cym still has the right to hold and express her views on why she thought the thread and post were inappropriate or any other subject here.

cym apologized for the personal nature of her post to Ruby, and even clearly stated that she doesn't believe the things she said about her. I think that takes no small amount of class to do, particularly in an environment ready to jump her for whatever course she takes from there.

God knows I've stuck my foot in my mouth on occasion. I would like to think I would not have responded to Ruby in the manner cym did, but on a bad day, when something irks me, I've been just as nasty. If we post often enough, most of us will, on occasion. Common courtesy dictates that once you see the error of your way, you apologize. Generally, the recipient of the apology accepts it gracefully, and things move on. I’ve been lucky enough to have that sort of experience here so far. Art and I have had some words, but I think since then we've grown to respect one another a lot more, even if we don't always agree.

Moderator schmoderator. I think since no special "moderating" power was invoked (because none exists) there is no moderating issue. The whole argument is moot.

I realize that not everyone is going to agree with me on this. But things are what they are, and no amount of arguing about it will bring about one iota of change. I am having a hard time thinking that there are many here who aren't very tired of non-stop bickering. So why can't we just agree to disagree, declare a truce, and move on?

I guess this where I'd say you are entitled you your opinion, I think I'll stay here, and blow it out your butt - all in the nicest possible way I can, of course! That is, if I were really at all concerned with your feeble powers as M o d e r a t o r.

Since I'm not, I'll just shake my head laughing, and wonder if you were dropped when you were little.

If that' s Lance's chest, I think he may be some kinda mutant. Like the cop in the Terminator II?

I gotta compliment him on his "M O D E R A T O R," though. Wish I'd a thought of that.
