What Are You Listening to Now 7.0

For those with a high heels fetish, I’ve corrected the URL at #3,194.

A little djembé musique, with a drum solo within an all-drum band.

Mamady Keita

Yemi Alade in person.

Sauti Sol.

Some girls ‘Maid in Britain’, apparently on a council estate.

Bone Death.

Hey-Up. The one that couldn’t ride a BMX rides a horse like a warrior queen. They don’t teach that on a council estate. I bet she first visited one in her teens, shopping for recreational products.

Live Fast or Die.

I’m still bewitched by this one.

Jesse Hold On.

It’s been a busy day. Upgraded to Windows 11. Word 2003 no longer compatible, as I discovered when I tried to save a lengthy and important piece of work. Upgraded to Office 2007. It functions, but it’s not fully compatible with Word 2003 files, even after downloading the compatibility pack, but the incompatibilities are trifling. Now I have to get used to the layout of two completely new interfaces.

(pointing out for writers in Mature category. Tina Weymouth (Bass/vocals) is 59 in this clip).

Queen Another One Bites the Dust, Procol Harum A Whiter Shade of Pale, Christopher Cross Ride Like the Wind, Wild Cherry Play That Funky Music, Billy Joel Allen Town

Odd little ditty, but what did they do to the audio? It sounds like they overlaid a studio track over the live track.

Right now I'm listening to Hummingbird by Seals & Crofts a song with a beauty that modern artists are completely incapable of emulating, Miracles by Jefferson Starship another song with beauty and complexity. The background singers are constantly a half tone flat, sometimes more, I'd love to hear it fixed, and a lot of Dooby Brothers - what talent in that band!

<snip>
Maybe just a good live performance? (studio track is from decades ago and doesn't match up - duration, Tina's voice, instruments).

You listening to the same radio station I am? 😆
Actually, I listen to the SiriusXM app and move between stations as my song finishes. I look at what's playing. When I change stations, it begins at the beginning of the song playing when I selected the channel.

Sounds good 😎

I mainly listen to Planet Rock and had not long finished Queen when I read your post lol

Nice choices incidently 👍

I'm listening to 147.000 MHz with a negative offset, CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) set to 127.3 Hz
The Nassau County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (NC ARES) weekly net will be starting up soon and I'll be checking in as N4AFV

Engel - Raven Kings (album)

Death Metal for people who hate death metal. Seriously. The vocalist can spit fire and brimstone with the best of them, but he's also got a fantastic clean singing voice he's allowed to use. Love these guys.

1) Daniel Romano is incredibly talented and criminally unknown outside of fairly niche music nerd circles.
2) I’m not sure how one stage can contain this much cool.
3) Juliana Riolino’s unhinged dance moves make me feel a certain way.
