What Are You Listening to Now 7.0

Umphrey's McGee - Things can only get better (Howard Jones Cover)

The Long Day Is Over -- Norah Jones.

Not much to look at, but a nice sultry voice for her brand of jazzy bluesy country.

AC/DC: Let there be ROCK! Great album for writing rough-sex stories, lol

Cinema Show - Tributo a Genesis & Marillion

Chaneton

Bandcamp released the other live Chaneton album today.

One gripe, after a full tribute album to Genesis I was expecting this to be all Marillion. Nope, eight Genesis songs and two Marillion. So between the two you have eighteen Genesis covers and two Marillion.

Don't get me wrong, all the songs are done very, very well, especially "Firth of Fifth." At least the two Marillion songs are "Sugar Mice" and "Lavender" which are the two I most hoped to hear.

Fans of early Genesis and Marillion will love this.

Great to see you here again - we missed your trademark green text!

Cougars and Gigolos (really, that's the name of it) -- The Rippingtons.

Katydid's Ditty -- Mason Williams ... 4 minutes of simple peace.

Nothing. I can't wear earphones with a managled ear, and the built-in speakers are too tinny for classical music, besides which I can only hear in mono...

Sing, Sing, Sing -- Benny Goodman .....

There's some INSANE drum parts on the early Genesis albums. I'm puzzled why they went all-in on programmed drums in their later career. ("Invisible Touch" will forever be among my fav Genesis albums, drum computer or not - but still...)
