I don't know that I could give a Ted Talk about posterior posting. I think it would be painfully quick. "Don't do it unless you recently waxed or are just naturally talented. The end."

I remember the one guy here who posted hours asshole and then was shocked when it wasn’t well received.

Funny thing is, it’s the only black hole that can be seen from space looking towards earth. If you get too close, the gravitational pull will draw you in and you’ll be stuck in there with all that other dark matter.

That time I posted about going to see the movie Wild Things in the 90s and I got up to use the bathroom while the famous 3-way scene was going on. And then I posted about it. A few hours ago. Pretty embarrassing!

Ignoring the boquet of red flags someone was routinely handing me because I wanted to believe they were a good, trustworthy person. Wasted a fair amount of time before finding out they were a liar and a dickhead after they broke things off. To be clear I knew when they were lying because they were terrible about it. I thought they had their reasons though so I let the multitude of little ones pile up.

Turns out in retrospect the only reason things worked out is we both liked them a lot. They ended up accusing me of doing every single thing they did and I apologized. Like an idiot. To be fair they also broke things off at the worst time possible because they were cowards. So I wasnt in my head when we had that convo. I was mad at myself for a long time after that. Then I realized being a manipulative asshole was on them. Now its just embarassing. Ah well live and learn.

Many, many of us have been there. I sure have. As you say, the person that did you wrong was manipulative. People like that are good at twisting things around on those of us who give a little generosity when it comes to those we care about. I know you know this, I'm just saying you absolutely don't need to feel embarrassed, because it's not on you.
