Obama did not piss on the military in any way shape or form. ISIS was created by the vacuum Bush created, Obama had his part in it. Honestly we should have let Syria gas it's citizens back into submission. When that place fell ISIS really got started. But that's hindsight and I do blame Obama on that.

The region had been a terrorist safe haven for decades. Obama's weakness is in dealing with Republicans not in dealing with foreign powers or terrorists. There he's pretty damn effective.

Obama couldn't build up Iraq for the same reasons Bush didn't. The American tax payer didn't want to and he's a politician. Should he have? Yes, he should have, he should have dumped several billion dollars into getting Iraq truly modernized. Be honest though, if he had you'd be bitching about the debt instead of ISIS.

I just hope the days of one party intentionally sabotaging the other are done. I'm not going to pretend that the Democrats were perfect, or even always good but (I'm talking the elected officials in general, Congress in particular) what happened to Obama is utterly unprecedented. It's kinda sad that I can honestly say that a Romney presidency would have been better than a second term of Obama and not because their principles are really that far a part but because whether it's because of race or because of party the Republicans wouldn't have stonewalled everything. They hated Clinton despite the fact that the rates of crime and unemployment declined during his presidency, and despite the fact that the per capita gross domestic product rose.

The polarization that happened in the United States during the 1960's over civil rights and the War in Vietnam never really went away. The fact that the average standard of living declined under both President Bush and President Obama gives it a sharper edge. During the election of 1968 most black militants and most Wallace supporters were better off than ever before in their lives, and better off than their parents were at their ages.

This cannot be said for those in the Tea Party and the Occupy Movement.

I voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012. I would vote for him again against any Republican with the possible exception of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.).
