Why is the loving wives crowd so harsh

Zeb, thanks for clarifying this for us. That's what I thought the category was all about, a wife that loves you so much she will do anything for you, but also has your best interests at heart.

And the answer to the question?? Well, if you define cheating as a breach of trust, breaking your vows concerning the exclusivity of the relationship without her knowledge, then if you have her permission, then you haven't cheated, unless you went across any lines she drew in advance (for instance, not cumming inside).

If you define cheating as adultery, then that's different. That would be defined as sex outside of marriage period, permission or no permission.

It all depends on your point of view. A loving wife can be one that loves you and only you. Or one that loves you so much she will do anything you ask her too.

So is it really cheating if your spouse asked you to fuck someone else?

I have one like that in LW, and it did just fine.

The readers have a lot of control over what defines a category as well. The votes they cast and the comments they leave either encourage or discourage authors from posting certain kinds of stories to the category, and thus define it.

Vampires and Werewolves are "in", so the Non-Human category is packed to the brim with them. To a lesser extent, those cross over into Sci-Fi&Fantasy and Erotic Horror, but the readers give slightly different definitions to those categories, so the theme doesn't dominate. Horror readers have actually been pushing these sort of stories out of the category with their votes, preferring them to lean more toward darker stories.

The readers of the Mature category obviously have a different definition of what the category should be from what I assumed of it. If you look through the comments, scores, vote totals, etc., it's obvious that the readership prefers stories of 30-40 somethingnvS women over what I would have defined as "mature" ( about a decade more )

The Incest/Taboo category may as well just be "incest" because the bulk of the readership complains about anything without actual blood relations. The occassional mother-in-law story will slip through, or a step-sister thing, but other taboos such as teacher/student will get bad scores and lots of complaints.

The problem with the LW category is that it's divided, and no camp really has enough dominance to define it. I suspect that none of them ever will.

The closest thing is the "no wimps/cucks" faction, which is more vocal and vitriolic in the comments section. Otherwise, the scores and vote totals don't seem to be much different from those of a "torch the bitch" story or a "slut wife" story.

I have one like that in LW, and it did just fine.

My only other story in the category is a bait and switch where it looks like the wife is cheating, but it's really just a little role-play her husband orchestrated to key in on her fantasies. It constantly battles back up toward the 4.5 mark only to get slapped down by someone voting one because there's no actual cheating going on *laugh*

Why is the loving wives crowd so harsh, you ask?

Basically because fans can't decide whether they want to feltch that cum out of her cunt or beat the bitch up.

:D

You're welcome. Adultery or any other word you use is a ficton(I know, no such word) of man's imagination. Fidelity is an abstract concept that has never been applicable to nature. Man developed fidelity to satisfy his sense of ownership. By pledging your fidelity to one another you in sense own one another.

There are few species in nature that are monogamous, even the higher mammals, dolphins in particular are practice sex for pleasure instead of procreation.

Now see, I knew there was a reason I loved dolphins so much...I like the way they think!!

I have one LW story("The Round-Up . . . Is Over"). In it the protagonist defends his wife against a club of serial seducers and destroys their organization. As a result, he ends up (at his wife's instigation) taking on the wives of two of the antagonists in a small harem. The story scored fairly high (4.3 if I recall) and a lot of the comments were very positive. There were a few that confuse me to this day, though. Apparently a couple of readers actually like stories where the husband is cuckolded and abused and were really disappointed when my 'hero' turned out to be smarter and tougher than the bad guys. Another couple don't seem to have gotten the point of the ending at all. Maybe the LW crowd is so harsh because they're basically illiterate?:confused::confused:

That might depend on the species. Many dolphins mating behavior would qualify as abduction and gang rape by human standards. I prefer bonobos.

I learned a new word today! How about that!

The new word aside, I suspect your assessment of some of the LV ‘fans’ is correct. There’s, definitely, something going on in their heads that is causing them a lot of conflict.

My theory is...they are professed christians who out of guilt comment harshly on the stories they really liked. The ones that got their jingle to jangle, then out of remorse they feel they have to repent. So, they assuage their guilt by calling the author names or the characters names, etc. adnausium.

I've noticed the same, and it's really unfortunate.

There are many great, well written stories, which have gotten low scores and harsh comments because they either feature a cuck husband or a cheating wife.

Cheating is wrong, and I don't really care about cucks, but it's just a freaking story. I don't understand why people take it so seriously, it's just someone's fantasy.

I'm afraid that most of them think the stories are real.

No one gets that riled up at fiction. Do they?

That’s another possibility.

It also occurs to me that some of these people may actually think the ‘Loving Wives’ category is only supposed to be about completely faithful, barefoot, pregnant, in the kitchen, unconditionally loving wives.

When I first came to this site, I immediately assume that ‘Loving Wives’ was a slightly humorous twist on the more typically named ‘Slut Wives’ story category. But, hey, that’s just me.

That was my thought also when I first started reading them. Then I read a stories comments and wondered what the fuck they were talking about. So I decided to write one of my one. I was right...even though I clearly stated it was fiction up front, I, the author was accused of being a wimp for allowing my wife to get away with cheating by, of course, Anonymous, who else. Moron.

Later on when I would post the occasional LW story I could tell that the moron Anonymous didn't even bother reading the story. Just left a scathing comment about the author. Brilliant comments too...like "just another cuck story" or "just another wimpy husband". Moron couldn't even read the story as neither were in it, just saw my name on it and farted a comment, thinking it would hurt my feelings.

Now a days I just write one every once in awhile to poke the trolls with a stick...what a bunch of morons.

You get the same type of not reading the story readers in the non-consent category also. The first story I posted there, this one couple (At least he said they were a couple) yelled about the rape of the young woman in the story. If they had read the story they would have know it was her that raped him.

Actually, it was a mental struggle of a young woman trying to figure out if she wanted to be the good girl, the slut, or somewhere in between. She figured it out in the end.

Wet If anyone is interested. Read the comments also.

You suck. If you had any brians at all you'd know that feltching means eating come out of an ass. What your talking about is known as a cremepie! Cremepie! Get it? Eating cum out of pie, which is another name for a pussy, witch probably describes you! Get it yet? Don't know why they don't call it a cumpie cause cum don't taste like creme according to my girlfriend. Thats right, my girlfriend! She can suck my cock way better than my ex-bitchwife could. And she takes it up the ass. Whatever. You get a big fat 0 for not knowing what your fucking talking about even though I liked the rest of you're post.

Geez, looks like someone had too much coffee today.

One of my first contest entries was in the Loving Wives category. Along the lines previously suggested of a loving wife (in this case 3) who would do anything for her man, and ending up with a lot of wife 'sharing'. It's done remarkably well for the category it's in. I believe a large part of that is because it WAS a contest entry, and you get a lot of readers who aren't concerned if it's in the right category or not, they're just looking for a good read.

I have 20+ stories in that category, mostly part of longer series, and for the most part, they score pretty well. I think all but two have scores of 4.5 or higher. Of course none of them (or very few) are of the revenge category or cuckolding category.

It's possible to write in that category without getting skinned alive, but I still find the ultra-vitriolic comments a gas.

So, wife sharing that doesn't involve cuckolding...how do you accomplish that?
