Any more Sci Fi fans her?

I really enjoyed the Wizard of Oz part although the puppets were a bit disturbing

Heh. Yeah. Overall though, it was a good episode.

Episode 200 was funny, of SG-1 that is. I especially like the Farscape part.

typically, I don't like that kind of thing in sci-fi or fantasy. Good God, I hated the Xena and Herculese shows with a passion for this very reason. I'd rather see bad sci-fi or fantasy that takes itself seriously than see sci-fi or fantasy that is all campy.

Somehow, someway, SG-1 managed to be funny and not campy... and when it _WAS_ campy, it was somehow funny enough that I didn't notice.

"Window of Opportunity" was terrific.
"Wormhole X-Treme" was hilarious.
"The Other Guys" was great
"Avenger 2.0" was good.
"200" was funny...well...funny enough.

Then again, there are blemishes on the SG-1 track record, like "Space Race" and "Fallout"

Well yeah, every series has it's black marks. And normally I don't really care for the campiness either, but "200" pulled it off well.

Torchwood was not bad but a bit derivative (x-files for a start). I live not too far from where Torchwood and Dr Who are made and some of my friends have seen them filming in Swansea. It's great to see two excellent programs being made in little old Wales

Personally I'm a big Star Trek fan (Deep Space 9 being my favorite), but I also like other sci fi tv shows.

I liked STO, DS9, Voyager, and I even liked ST Enterprise. Currently I am really enjoying Heroes.

I am more into watching sci-fi movies than television shows, though.
