Any more Sci Fi fans her?

I liked Outer Limits...specifically the episode (Final Exam) where the college student built the cold fusion bomb. Anyone remember this?

I love pretty much any sci-fi I'm introduced to. My newest was Andromeda. I don't watch much tv, but my man has them on dvd.
Star Trek rules all, but for some reason, Kirk annoys me.
Star Wars, the original trilogy.
Bunches more :D
sci-fi rules all

Did he always annoy you, or does he just annoy you lately?

I'm a total scifi /fantasy geek. I love all the treks, (well, Enterprise was very hard to swallow) Babylon 5 is all good, I watched it all the time when I could. If I could have my cable back I'd have the Scifi Channel on consistantly. I love "Trippin the Rift" too, cos it parodies most scifi. Great art too! I haven't seen the last Starwars movie yet... Xmen3 either, but I wait... :catroar:

Fair enough. That sucks. :(
Yep it does. I really liked the TV show and so I hoped to get a movie just with Adrian Paul ...but we still can hope. Look at what happend with Babylon 5, so there is allways hope.

True. :)

I couldn't get into "Highlander" couldn't undersstand it. I thought "Andromeda" sucked too. But "Lexx" yeah, I thought that was really good... it was weird. The weirder it was, the more it kept my attention. Go figure.

I remember Lexx. I used to watch that every week, if i didn't i'd be completely confused about what was going on.

Just out of curiousity, when did you pick up Andromeda? There's a pretty sharp divide in style in the series after the pocket Tarn Vedra line started up (which was really the bizarre part of the show). Though I have to admit, the thing that was driving the Magog (I've briefly forgotten its name) was a bit strange and creepy too. :)

When I first started watching it, it was on UPN. After a few episodes, I couldn't take it anymore. Kevin Sorbo, or whatever, is not the "captain" type to me. He seems too... soft. But that's just my IMO. Afer I saw that and "Enterprise" I started making my own list of actors I would make a captain. I started it up on my conputer and then a couple of people on the Startrek forum discussed it with me. It was fun!

Hmm . . . probably the earlier stuff, then. I missed a lot of episodes, but I think there were four phases:

1) Rebuild the Commonwealth/Explore the Remnants
2) Commonwealth Rebuilt
3) Fight the Magog/Entropy-Chaos thingy
4) Pocket Tarn Vedra strangeness

The last one had some odd connections to Lexx, IMHO. If I remember correctly, that section lasted a season or so before SciFi mysteriously made the show vanish without warning.

I love Stargate SG1.

When I was in America it would be on the Sci Fi channel for a whole evening. :)

It is not on in UK at the moment and we are so far behind...

I'm a huge fan of Battlestar G. (Can't believe they're making us wait 'til January!!!) I also religiously watch SG-1, and watch Atlantis too, although I'm not as attached to it. I liked the original Tripping the Rift mini-movie, but the series seemed to have lower production work. The graphics weren't as good.

I tried Dr Who, but it just didn't make it for me, although the girl is cute. Right now, I'm into the Startrek TNG reruns every afternoon.

i am into DR Who as you can see by the av , but also
4400, higlander (the new movie is still going ahead but will go stright to dvd in the west due to the anami script) stargate, star trek all forms but have a soft spot for ds9 oh and babylon 5

hmmm long list propley missed somthing

So far I've been to this convention twice, and I'll be attenting this year as well. I've never been to one in the US, it's just to expensive to go there, and also attend a convention I think.

It looks like you'll be attending a great convention. I have seen a few of those guests at cons I attended. I hope you have a wonderful time.
