Any more Sci Fi fans her?

How are they going to restart production of Firefly with most of the characters being killed in Serenity? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it, cause the show was awesome, but would it be the same with a new cast?


The one that I really love though is Eureka on SciFi. I know it's not your traditional scifi show, but it's very smart, and very funny.

Been a huge SG-1 fan since the days it was on Showtime, and Atlantis is great as well. Amanda Tapping is just wicked hot!

Also love Ghost Hunters, though they never really seem to catch any...

Dying in anticipation of the Galactica premier tonight. Grew up on the original, and love the harder, grittier look of the new one.

If you have Dish, HDNet is running Enterprise now, not my fav ST series, but great in HD. Of course, all of the ST series I really liked.

Basically, I'm a huge 35 year old geek. I love my "Programs" as my wife puts it. Somehow, she makes it sound almost bad...

Galactica premier tonight was awesome.. can't wait to see how they get out of this one without everyone killed off but they did saw a fairly important secondary character was going to die early in the season.. so we'll see.. I have a feeling Adama is gonna kick ass and take names soon.. I also still can't believe the canceled SG-1 and left us hanging like they did in the seasons final episode.. anyway.. I loev all things sci-fi.. and Sci-Fi most watch channel in this house.. so glad I got a DVR.. Still have to watch Dr.WHO from earlier tonight..

As for th Deep Space 9, the episode you're looking for is rejoined, it's the 5th episode in season 4.

I hadn't heard that firefly will be back in production!! Do you have any more information about it? I have several friends who will be very happy to hear it

I kinda heard it though the grapevine but my sources are really sure about it. It's due to Joss Whedon never wanting to work with FOX ever again and now that sci-fi bought it he is ready to go again. I'll see if I can find sources

There is a site where you can petition the cancellation of SG-1. They might have to run it on the net for only the die hard fans but I've already been campaining for a while now

I quite liked Farscape. I seem to remember a movie called The Peacekeeper Wars (or something) that came out on a cable channel yonks ago. It might be out on DVD. Not sure about that.

Just neve could get into Farscape. I did hear that there was a movie with a title something ike that a few years ago.

I'm bummed about Stargate. Maybe the rumors are true and they'll keep webisodes going, but doubtful that it will be the same.

Guess I still have Atlantis and Galactice though...

At least the two leads......

I know that Farscape is now in syndication, we have 2 episodes every Sat night here on the local NBC station. You may hceck your local listings late at night and get lucky.

I did just see the 200th episode of Stargate SG1. It was hilarious.

They mocked everything even themselves. They even did a tribute to farscape on it. and they did "go there"with the whole wizard of oz thing. It was so great. Better than the episode where everthing repeated itself

My first love is for all things Star Wars, though I tend to like the Prequel Trilogy better, making me a bit of an anomole in the land of SW. My favorite movie is Revenge of the Sith, I swear I feel like it changed my life.

I also love Harry Potter, a bit obsessively in fact...My favorite character there is Remus Lupin *sigh* and I am even thinking of bringing my son to see that new cartoon penguin movie that is coming out just to see the OoTP trailer.

You should definitely watch Firefly and after that the Serenity movie. I'm personally watching Buffy for the first time around, I just got season 3 and 4 in the mail today.

Yup - Firefly Season 2 was sooooo on my Xmas list until it got shelved.

Love the Stargate series, disappointed with the new Galactica and waiting for the next good idea from Holywood...

I actually liked the new galactica. took me a bit to get into it because I was so used to the old one but after a bit I really got into it. I actually have all the series.

I didn't think that Iwas going to like the Voyager series, but after watching the first few episodes I really loved it. Thought that Kate Mulgrew did a tremendous job as Janeway. I can't aite for the series to show up in sydication, as I am too cheap to go out and buy it on DVD

As far as Galactica, I think that I am becoming addicted. I can't wait to see how they get out of apparently killing off a few integral characters, or if they do at all.

Agreed about Galactica.. One thing I'd like is is they'd clear up a few threads and simplifiy the story line.. They may surprise me but I can't see them killing off the ones it looks like they are going to.. but then this is sci fi so you never know..
