A selfie to commemorate the happy day when I was finally able to - at least part time - move back to my real job and leave the shitty "oh, we need you here just for 2-3 weeks and look who's asking, so you can't really say no" shitty stint in the upper floor behind me! That 2-3 weeks ended up being 4 very long months, but now I'm freeeeee! (okay, I still have to do that shitty job two days a week until July, but after that I'll be completely freeeeee of that awful part of my life.)

Yes! I can't even describe what a black hole these four months have been. I've hated my life. It's an important and very vied for position that I've held, but not something I'd like to do in the long run and covid made it so much worse too. I'm so happy I can finally wean myself from that.
(Although I've already been warned that I'm now the #1 person to go to if similar chaos comes up again in the future, which I'm not happy about. Let's hope it doesn't happen any time soon.)

Ha - I had to get a photo taken when I started my current job. The poor guy took about 30 shots and then looked at me and said 'You really don't like having your photo taken, do you?' We ended up with something usable, but I really should get a new one. (If for no other reason than it's a waist up shot, and it was before I got the boob surgery.)

Oh I know. My work ID is awful and I wish I could get a new one, but apparently they use the same pic for 10 years and then you get to take a new one.
My passport/ID photo is awful as well, although not as bad as the previous one. Once I was checked for ID when I bought beer at a bar and the waiter was like "girl, this pic does not do you justice". Sooo... It was bad.
