Case proven. Nuff said :)

I've been trying to answer my own question and I'm still mulling. I always had a very fixed idea of how I wanted my body to be. It was a surprise to learn how many trans women are happy to simply transition socially and then promote breast growth with hormones. I can assure them that it makes aftercare much simpler and of course is much less costly.

What I didn't know, because of my limited experience was men's preferences, so the replies here have been interesting.

Men whose sexual desires are dictated less by binary conventions are obviously going to be less fussy about nuts or otherwise. How wonderful is that?

Sticky, you start the best threads! You always make me think and seem to attract thoughtful respondents. As for my own "with or without" preference...it isn't something that has ever been a consideration with a partner. When I think about it, though, I'm kind of turned off by trans porn that is focused on a huge cock.

My girlfriend who is transgender hates transgender porn and never watches it. I have asked her why but she’s never really been able to say why.

I like nuts :) I understand why the ball sack is very small but it takes the fun out of playing with them :)
Well yeeaaah BUT... they are kinda male
A lover even acknowledging them would have sent me into a dysphoric tailspin.

Talking of (some) trans porn vids, you'll often see she holds her junk out of the way - isn't that a clue? Then you need to remember there's probably a sound guy, a camera guy and a director in the room so, like any porn video, it's not a reflection of real life - quite the reverse.

I was taken to a porn shoot in Las Vegas with some other people. You are right about what is going on. Watching the video there is no indication of the yelling how to move, kiss, fuck and the people all standing around LOL

I watched a serious documentary... may have been on YT, about a photographer who ended being a porn director, pretty much by chance - someone he knew had a job and 'was he interested?'
He sounded a decent guy and was very honest about the process. He also acknowledged that occasionally they had to take a break when for example, the model accidentally shit in the guy's lap. Now you know...

This right here. For myself, they seem so foreign, like how did I get these things?
Yes, I know the biology, but mentally I look forward to not having those male parts! After that my body will feel so much more aligned with my view of myself.

I didn't even know this was a thing! For me it wouldn't matter what she had, it's the person I'm interested in
That's decent of you, but that might not be how she feels about her body. If she's waiting for surgery and hates what's she's got, then she might drop some hints ;)

Fully transitioned women generally don't like watching porn like that and many don't want to use a strapon.
If you're trans feminine yourself and would like your transitioned partner to go top on you with a strapon, it's common to be out of luck.
In my very limited experience, you're more likely to have a cis woman agree to it than a post-surgery trans woman.

Yup, agreed. A cis woman will have a mischievous curiosity but for a trans woman there are too many negative resonances

This has been a very thought provoking and civil thread. I really thank you for the perspective of a fully transitioned woman. i am a dull, boring old guy and remember thinking back when dr richards had what was then a "sex change" operation. I am glad that there is more progress in psychological, emotional and physical support and can hope things only get better. Personally I can see dating and more with a fully transitioned woman but still on the fence about my own feelings abput the initial premise of this thread. I love your honesty and the input I have read here. Thanks Stickygirl and everyone who have shared their insights with me and the general community.

As a lifelong sissy, and now that I have breast implants, i am a woman with a cock. I would never want to be without my cock and balls nor would I want to be with another sissy who doesn't have them. To me a cock without balls is just a pee tube. That said, I am not a fan of low hanging balls, but I do like the feel of a sissies balls hitting my chin or ass cheeks when she is fucking my face or ass.

Thanks Chrissy -
every day's a school day and that's interesting. Keep having fun!

Different sides of the same fence? I dunno, I suppose because I am 100% happy with the route I took I can't understand why a trans woman would want to keep them, especially if they are taking anti-androgens long term. I know a girl who couldn't have full lower surgery and elected for an orchie as being the next best thing, because it meant she could revert back to estrogen only.

Then it's interesting to see what guys think too. I wonder if it's because with-nuts is what is shown in porn 99% of the time so that's the norm? But then that loops back to why the women decide to keep them? Does the industry encourage them to keep them, because financially it's a safe bet? So many questions ?! :)

ETA
I suppose my concern is that they're popping pills to present a body style to tick the industry boxes.
hmmm... this is interesting. So for the one trans woman I know, she wants the surgery and by Gad, if I won the lottery I would pay for her to have it! Because she is a family friend and I think that should be fair and good and right and perfectly ok in the world (and sadly not in many places). BTW her family supports it but things are complicated. So for her--a person with her own desires and needs, this is good. I hope it works out.

But from my perspective as a male who has never been with a trans woman and has now decided I have a very strong desire for this, I want something different. I would want to experience penis and balls and I also like and want a womanly look and beauty that has some sort of secret I have constructed around it all. I think I would rather trans women did not do anything but leave the balls and penis there for both our enjoyment. I would love to experience this. So for me, from a sex and porn and gif and vid and masturbation fantasy perspective, I like all that stuff I see and I want it! I have come to admit to myself that it makes me the most excited I have ever been sexually and I gravitate toward it more and more. I will download hot women and all that, and I think I will get off watching them (sometimes just scrolling pics or gifs and not even naked) and then I start looking at gay cock rub or trans women revealing themselves, and boom! That's what gets me off! In fact, as nice as a pussy feels, I find I like the look of a beautiful hard penis and balls more than that right now! Who knew? All of this is in secret and on my computer for now, but that's what I like so there you go. I have always been into masturbation. It has merely evolved into something that is even more exciting than ever before.

What I am saying is, people need to understand what the other party wants for themselves and respect that, but people also want things they want. And right now, many men do love to see trans women cumming in porn vids online. Maybe an industry pushes this, but that also could be because it is quite desirable and they know what people like me seek. Some are lucky enough to have this experience live. I can only dream but am currently ok with that. Still, I would love to learn more I dunno. I am new to all this, but I like what I like and I seek it out. When I see it I basically get into that sexy place in my head as I watch and imagine, and my hand and mind do the rest. It is very fun indeed.

Since this is an opinion thread, I'll state my preference. I'm attracted to hard cock but not to masculinity. I love women with or without a cock. If she does have a cock, I want it to be hard, so I guess that means with nuts.

I know a lot of ladies here whose dysphoria is focused on their face and voice, not their genitals. They go on HRT, may get top surgery if E isn't satisfactory for breast growth, and get FFS. Do vocal training. Yes, many desire bottom surgery, more trans women do than trans men, I believe. But also lots of trans women here keep what they got. Or, they don't get vaginoplasty / vulvoplasty. They just get an orchi and are happy with the rest.

One trans woman, Mira Bellwether, who sadly passed away last year made a zine all about the different ways trans women can pleasure themselves and others apart from I guess the obvious. Including muffing & using straps on other women (including pre/non-op trans women using strap ons).

She was unapologetic about it all. She even used her own body as a sort of diagram to explain muffing in Fucking Trans Women (FTW). I think just like cisgender women, transgender women have all kinds of needs and desires.

Some just wanna lie back in soft pillows and be loved on, or do the loving. Others wanna smash the hell outta you and get dirty doing it. And/or be smashed.

Not to mention... can't forget just how many of these ladies are lesbians and don't even want anything to do with these guys ;) (or, as I often hear in my neck of the woods said by trans queer girls, "transbians" lol)
If you used to sing in the school choir, keep singing along in your top register - it helps with your speaking voice too.

Oddly enough, I was just about to post here with a kinda summary of the medical pros and cons of an orchiectomy
For removal
  • possible dysphoria over having them
  • side effects of using a testosterone blocker, like spiro, that is a diuretic
  • happy with breast growth (or intended to have implants anyway)
  • won't affect the viability of a later vaginoplasty surgery

For keeping
  • No need for T-blocker treatment
  • Probably easier to get an erection with viagra?? ( Not sure about that )
  • Men love your nuts! 😀

Taking estrogen will generally make you infertile once taken for a few months - this may not be a concern at the time, but later you may change your mind and regret if you've not made plans to freezebank your sperm.

A post which was both informative and amusing!

We froze mine and yes, we have a friend request mine for a donor. I did father a child for a couple due to the husband having a vasectomy from a prior marriage. We did it the old fashion way too. I do find women have more interest, in playing now than before.

Mine without was for HRT, appearance, I'm active so clothing for an active lifestyle. What's left hides easy. I've been blessed with great results for HRT. My mother was large breasted so being a B cup looks great on a slender body.

This all sounds to complicated! (He says with tongue planted firmly in cheek) ;)

In most of the porn vids the trans women still have their testicles, indeed it's rare to see them without. I read somewhere that men prefer their trans woman to be without, as though somehow, subconsciously, her nuts presented a threat and that if she'd had an orchieoctomy it was kinda proof she was no longer 'a man'. All nonsense when it comes to a definition of course, but I'm curious if there's a preference among trans lovers.

Since this is a question of preference not opinion, then your response shouldn't be open to judgement, any more than people showing a preference to apples over oranges.

( For clarification, if a trans woman has testes then she would normally have to take an androgen blocker, such as spirolactone, as well as estrogen in order to promote female physical characteristics. In my book, more pills = more side effects and I was glad to be shot of them.)
I prefer a hefty set of nuts on a pretty tgirl, but in many of my experiences their nuts are present but rather small. Maybe from hormones, idk. The whole appeal of a tgirl IS the fact she has a cock and balls. Post ops do nothing special for me. Much prefer a beautiful person born female over that. The whole point is to fulfill the joys of being with an attractive woman, but also have a dick and balls to play with 🤣
