Think, DG's suggestion of 2 polls might be the way to go. We'll find out next time......

I think this is all part of the learning curve, this is the thrid official contest in. I dont think we are expected to have all the bugs sorted out.

In the end the private vote might be the only way to do it downt the track, say by teh time we are in the 15 or more-th contest we might have 20 or more entries. Then the play off polls might become messy, and also how will one decide which entries play off against each other. By chance you might but the "best" 3 in one poll.

Also we might have to wait and see what happens with Literotica's redesign, it might then allow a massive number of spots for a poll.

By the votes at the moment, and we are only just over a day, to me it looks like we are already having more voters than what we had on the last contest at the same time. It just may look less as it is spread over more entries. So the PM so far is looking good.

On another note.
DG thanks on the trophy, on this we should have either a thread, or a website for evey entry that participated, our own massive gallery/exhibition.

I'll second that! I like that idea too.

I was thinking that maybe we could have a sticky thread sorta like a black manual for the Artist's Corner that listed all the Individual Artist's threads, under one cat, then all contest's another cat, a main gallery of contestants, maybe a history of art thread introducing all the old threads that stared all this.......

Maybe i'm getting ahead of myself here.

I love these ideas yall have come up with! Now, the question is who will be the host of the gallery thread? Who has the most time?

Dark glasses, I love your trophies with the winning entry behind it. Very cool What happens if somebody wins more than one or several? If we keep participating and win a bunch then our sigs will become too long to handle and load etc...could become a nuisance. Not that I am expecting to be that nuisance mind you. For I am quickly becoming the "goddess of 2nd place"
