I'm so happy that you are finding what you need, but sorry for the inner conflict. Remember, you deserve to be happy. Like you, I knew nothing of DD/lg until I found this thread, and a member "took me under her wing".
I was fortunate to find my DD within my husband, and since we became Bunny and Wolfie, our relationship has only grown deeper. I won't repeat my story here but if you want to know more you can read When Bunny Found Her Wolfie. I wrote it under the care and supervision of my therapist.
I consider myself one of the most fortunate women in the world, well at least the Lit world. I wish you all the best!

I used to think I have somewhat of an outer defence layer, then lots of relatively soft stuff, and then a hard core.

Lately I've realised that my core just has a wall surrounding the really soft stuff, and He has the key. "Good girl" works like a magic word.

Nice to see you here! It may be worth it reading through versions 1-2 of this thread to learn more about the dynamic.
