To be honest, most people that are not on these boards gave me wonderful feedback and I felt encouraged. Now I feel like a fish out of water but look at that as a way to learn.

One thing I am working on is trying to enjoy poems that do not rhyme and have no apparent rhythme as poetry as I see it. I have always had a problem with enjoying those.

Some people call that the "Mother Goose Syndrome", hehe

As the creator of this thread it was never my intention to judge anybody's work but just to promote discussion.

It all boils down to a matter of taste, preference. Free speech allows us to state our own indidual preferences, that should not deter any one. I like one flavour of ice cream, you (the collective) another.
