Loving Wives Bomb Magnet

Oh, and more broadly, yesterday I had some votes erased and my score jumped from exactly 3 to something like 3.2. So my anecdotal, small sample size, evidence leads me to believe that once my story got buried (i.e., was no longer near the beginning of the "new" list), the haters didn't see it and the latest votes are all 4s and 5s. (I'm a math teacher and have been tracking my scores because I'm curious about how things operate, but I promise not to be boring and talk about my scores all the time.)

Thanks for the interaction! January is a cheating story, February (if it ever gets through moderation) opens things up, and by March it's a husband-approved-hotwife story. My kink is that the husband gets to watch the wife mess around (and/or participate a little bit) and then do clean-up duty.
I'm not into the clean-up duty. But the "having fun and watching" is good.

It's my opinion that sex doesn't need to be exclusive for a happy marriage. With couples changing over time, having differing desires, and sometimes health issues interfering, it just seems that "monogamous-only!" demand then eventually relegates the marriage to the disaster, abuse, or divorce pile.

About once per week, the site admins conduct a "sweep" of ratings. In the past, I noticed it occurs around Tuesday after the story is over two weeks old and no longer on the "New" list. The sweep removes some 1s (and sometimes a few 5s) which their algorithm deems suspicious as probably coming from the same person/computer or IP address. voting multiple times.

EDIT: When your stories become popular or attract too much attention (ie, getting tens of thousands of views), that's a "double-edge sword." The sweeps removing a handful of 1s from my stories are a "drop in the bucket", when the haters have given it several hundred votes.

As for 26thNC (and others), they will always hate fun, sharing stories or cheater stories, unless the one having the extra-marital sex is burned. I don't delete their comments, because IMO, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I tend to agree. For this particular story, I deleted a couple of comments that abused other commentators, one that abused the author (because who needs that shit?), and the one from 26thNC, and I left up a whole heap of comments from people who hated, loved, or had mixed feelings about the story. That's the only story where I've had to do any interventions.

I allow all comments, regardless of how offensive they may be.

In my opinion, even the shittiest and most repulsive comments speak more about the one who posted it than it does about me. If anyone were to dredge up a particularly unique insult from a septic tank, ... well, that's where their mind resides. And I think we're all smart enough to see it.

Lifestyle, tell these people I’m not really a troll. I don’t do *1s and I’m a a serious, if slightly narrow minded critic. By the way, you need to get your groove back. Your last post didn’t even offend me.

Why pick on my comment Actingup. I don’t abuse authors, or other commenters, except Ic69hunter, and he don’t count. My feelings are hurt.

I just read your story and left a comment.

I'm not usually a fan of cheating stories. I prefer the fun, sharing stories. But I liked the story premise. If I were writing it, I would have the husband listening to his wife describe the "cocktail" and giving her a raised eyebrow and knowing smile. Then he'd avoid kissing her lips and give her a "peck on the cheek, taking her arm saying, "let's find someplace private and I'll get you a refill."

I don’t hate anything, I just don’t care for sharing, cheating, and especially cuck stories. I do love commenting on them though, especially when I get special attention from the author Actingup.

Put it down to unreasonable arbitrary author action, if you like. Honestly, the description of "Loving Wives" is "Married extra-marital fun: swinging, sharing & more", and yet apparently you can't have stories that include those elements without people getting their knickers in a knot about it.

This thread is interesting! I've never read any of these stories, but since there is a cadre of people who onebomb them, why not try for a low score? Seems like a story that could inspire all the trolls to rate it a one would be perfect. 😁

You're not? Well..... I think there are many of us still looking for any objective proof of that.

Your comments from your non-publishing account (26thNC) provide no constructive feedback, and only serve one of two reasons for posting them: Attempting to discourage others from reading the story, ... or jealously disparaging other authors to prop up your own ego.

A good critic might provide some constructive feedback, such as pointing out a disjointed story flow as a detractor, or inconsistencies within the story. If they don't like the actions and decisions of the characters, a good critic would SHOW why they don't like it with an example rather than TELL the author that it's a "messed up cuck piece of shit." (your words from one of your comments.) A good critic would SHOW us your own examples of what you think is a good story by showing us your own writings.

But you jealously protect your own publications from such comments by hiding under the bridge of a non-published alt ID. And you STILL open stories which you know you'll hate ... to leave such unproductive, minimal, shitty comments, by picking up whatever happens to be floating near your mind to fling.

I give you credit for putting your name on your comments, unlike the vast majority of LW moralising critics who hide in the anonymous swamp, but I don’t understand the compulsive need to dump on LW stories that don’t meet your moral standards (and from what I’ve read, your comments are never about the quality of the writing.) Most normal folk just don’t read stuff we don’t find appealing, and I’d suggest adopting that as an adult behavior rather than execrating others who don’t share your own views.

Here’s a couple comments you made on my stuff:

Good writing or not, it's still about a cheating whore and that gets it a *2.

(Punished I was, with a ‘two star’ slamdown!)

I note that it took you FOUR YEARS to get around to trashing one of my entries, such devotion to purity!

Jim the cuck enjoys his whorewife after her gangbang. Lowest of the low.

Endorsed!
Finally, four years later, my story gets dissed by 26thNC. The stamp of quality...

26thNC, I noticed you read and favorited the LW story "The Video Tapes".

Now go back to that story to read my comment, and you'll see why YOUR comments are "troll-like."

I provided examples for why I felt the story doesn't flow well, and where some details weren't realistic or needed. I don't care much for BTB stories. But after reading even those I don't particularly care for, I can still provide constructive feedback and encouragement. I even rated it a 4, rather than an average 3.

My latest 17K-word bomb magnet just dropped last night into the Loving Wives cesspool.

"The Cougar's New Toy"
"A wife seduces her young boy-toy with facts of life."

I happened to get up and glance at my phone two hours after it published, and sure enough, it had a rating of 2 with 2 votes!!! My dedicated trolls didn't let me down!

It's now up to 3.16 with 25 votes. And I'm sure there are some more 1s in there as more of my appreciative audience wakes to find it.

Those two 1s came BEFORE I posted the link here. They've been doing it to me for the past two years, long before I started this thread. I stayed up one night to see the first ratings immediately after a story went live, and I received 1s within the first ten minutes ... on a story far too long to even speed-read that fast!

Look at the name of the thread. If they're going to do it anyway, ... this is me having fun jerking their chains! I'll try to keep them busy.

"Give it your best shot!"

I GOT them!

My magnet is working. I have the attention of at least one bomber.

Over the last hour or two, I received (in the following order) 1, 2, 5, 5, 1, 1. When the rating went up with the two 5s, it was quickly followed with two 1s!

I'm entertaining someone with my latest story!

It's currently at 2.94/49.

I just watched the rating change with another 5, followed just minutes later with another 1.

2.98/50
2.94/51

I'm in somebody's head!

But they're also in yours. You're obsessed with checking the score. Makes that sad lot think they're something.
Not obsessed.

This time I'm just offering proof to the nay-sayers who make excuses.

There ARE turds floating in the AH swimming pool.

For many writers here, they're looking for the Red-H.

I'm satisfied with the views. The rating doesn't matter to me. By getting in their head, I'm getting views to support the site goals of more clicks!
