As bunny mentioned, using clamps longer than 30 minutes at a time can cause perminate damage. I'm not real knowledgable on suction, but I'd imagine there are risks to holding that too long as well.

I bought my weighted clamps on ebay, but you can easily make weights using fishing weights and some of that rubber tool handle paint and attach them to clover clamps yourself. However, with clovers, the more weight you add, the tighter they will get.

If I were you, I'd look into the risks and warnings of keeping these items on for extended periods before deciding on a method.

I poked around on that site a bit. There's some crazy looking WOOD nipple stretchers on there. I like the ones on the link I posted much better. The wood ones have NO visual appeal to me.

Very true Etoile. It is and I was pierced once and may do it again.

I heard that a sure fire way is to use suction or a breast pump. This can induce lactation, which is another goal of mine. It will make the areola and nipple darker and, of course, the nipple longer.

I was just thinking of another way before I start the induced lactation route.

Thanks. Lactating usually darkens nipples, nature's way for a baby to focus, as they do with contrasts. My nipples are already dark, but as you mentioned, who knows. Depends on the person.

From what I've looked into, there are women who maintain those changes after lactating. Depends on the person.

I pierced my nipples at 16g because I thought it was prettier to have a smaller diameter. I was later told by one piercer that 16g was too small and it would migrate, but another piercer told me I had done it deep enough and I should be fine. That was in December 2007 and they're still going strong. They healed beautifully and when I sized up there was just the slightest pinch, a little bit of soreness, then nothing.

Not to make you think about it again, or anything...
