Never seen this one. I was telling someone about the saga of my back porch and they mentioned this movie. It might be too triggering for me to watch

Oh it's definitely worth a watch. Tom Hanks at his 80s comedy best.

My husband was talking about wanting to flip houses so I made him watch it.

Thats cruel. Genius, but cruel.

Day 1, the first film I saw in a theatre? Like @Saltfountain it was Pinocchio. Likely about 1962 or '63, late November (my Birthday).

Just for the avoidance of doubt, I saw this much later on a re-release

Blinky Bill, an Australian animated movie about a Koala released in 1992. I was 7 and they still had intermission!

Day 1:
I can't remember what my first film may have been. I was told I was taken to the theater when I was a "baby" so my folks could see Ghostbusters. But, I did the math and it actually can't be true. When I confronted my parents about this they said it was probably The Elephant Man and that makes much more sense... but I can't remember it.

So, my first film I actually remember going to see was Star Wars: Phantom Menace. I was 19. We didn't go to movies when I was a kid. Combination of religious and monetary reasons. Hence me being 19.

Oh, gods... sorry that was loooooong af. I'll put Day 2 tomorrow...

Anywho...

I loved That Thing You Do. It's one of those films you see playing on tv and have to stop and watch. Well, back when flipping channels was a thing anyway.

This is a movie that flopped here and I think that's sad since it's one of the best relation movies I've seen, with fantastic actors doing a great job!

I was in line at a store one day and the guy in front of me had a t-shirt with "Broadsword calling Danny Boy" on it. I think I was the only one who got it!
