Day 5: A film you think is underrated

This is a documentary. It’s fucking powerful and as close as it comes.

Day 1: The First film you saw at the cinema

Deux hommes dans la ville with Jean Gabin and Alain Delon.
I'm not sure if this is the first film I saw at the cinema but it's the first I remember. This is a movie that is imprinted in my memory because of the subject (death penalty in France) and I was too young. I was 7-8 years old and I wasn't allowed to watch it but the guy who was at the entrance, checking the tickets at the time, was a friend of my father and he would let me in. I watched this movie about 5-6 times, and I cried every time. This is the movie where I fell in love with both Jean Gabin and Alain Delon.

Day 2: A film you watched over and over as a child

Helen of Troy (1956)
I think I've seen this one 11-12 times as a child. lol

Day 3: A film that made you laugh out loud

Young Frankenstein
Day 4: A film that starts with "The"

The Lion King
Day 5: A film that you think is underrated

This one is a bit difficult because it depends what "underrated" means but I'm going with "Giù la testa" (A Fistful of Dynamite) because at the time it didn't have the success that it deserved.

I am so sad we will never get more Philip Seymour Hoffman……he was so good.

I mean, watch this clip. He’s amazing……Tommy, Tommy, Tommy…..

Saaame! 2016 was devastating. 2 of my favorite actors passed away and I found out the 3rd beat his wife 🤬

Day 4: A film that starts with "The"

The Proposal. Sandra Bullock and the eagle that tried to carry off that dog lol.

Day 5: A film that you think is underrated

Field of Dreams. Got nominated but didn't win anything.I like sports movies anyways and James Earl Jones in it made it better.

Day 6 (A little early) a movie I’d like to watch on the big screen:

Ok, this may be an odd choice, but I’d love to see the 1966 Batman movie on the big screen with an appreciative crowd, quoting memorable lines, etc.

I had no idea when I put on this movie that I would even like it, but it was so good and beyond my expectations. Also I'm a big fan of Jon Bernthal. I should definitely watch it again

Loved this movie and Bernthal is such a great actor that I wound up hating him…..see Fury (2014)
