Last time I played music was back in High School; the obligatory Garage Band. We were trying so hard to be Van Halen, it would've been funny, except we were serious. I started out on drums, then played bass for a while. I think my chops are probably blown after almost 16 years, though.

Someone mentioned this one a while back and it got me interested enough to go do the test (and others) has anyone else done this one?
I came out as slap bang in the middle - you know you get a cluster of blue dots at one end and a cluster of pink ones at the other - well there was me sitting all on my lonesome in the middle!

I was really wondering if our results bore any relevance to our sexual preferences?

I just found this thread. I like to be dominated by some women and dominate others. For me, I'm either in a dominant mood or a playful mood where I want to be dominated.

I usually don't switch from one mood to the other in the same day or week, although I won't rule it out. When I was younger I was mostly dominant. If I'm dominant for a long period of time, I find I desire being dominated. If I'm being dominated, I find I desire being dominant. (I want what I can't have?)

I've read stories with a dominant woman, a submissive man, and another woman that was submissive to the woman and dominant to the man. It makes for an erotic story, but I'm not sure there are many women who could play the submissive / dominant role at the same time, although I'm sure the gender change could make it easier.

I wondered if those of us who identified as switches had a higher likelyhood of being 'statistically' in the middle or in the 'wrong' gender on tests like these.

Cym, I got 'it all adds up you are a man' on mine so there must be subtle differences even in the middle ground!

I did the Gay test too, you have to identify whether you are straight or gay to begin with and then it tells you how you match up to that portion of society for example I did it as a gay woman once and it said I was straighter than 54% of other gay women, then I did it as a straight woman and it told me I was 67% gayer than other straight women!! at least i think thats how it works,
the inner child test is kinda fun too - especially given my outburst of five-yr old tears this morning when I ripped my foot up on a nail in the floor - you know for someone who can take alot of pain in a sexual context I can be a real baby when I get hurt in RL.

I think there may be merit in your thought (crap. I'm slipping into my pedantic philosopher Voice) that we who are in between in one way may be in between in other ways. It's a thought I've entertained as well, especially after the third of such online surveys I took (one placed there by an education institute rather than the silly ones for fun) suggested that I've a mild case of Gender Dysphoria. I chuckled at it and said, "well, how many ways am I neither one thing nor another?" Quite refreshing to note that I'm not the only odd one out, by a long shot.

And, related to nothing else, I like the AV. Something about seeing someone's face, especially such a cute sprite's face.....

Hello .... I hope I don't annyoy too many people with all my questions in this forum ... I had a few questions ..... I and my wife/sub are still new to BDSM ..... we've been steadily moving forward ... yet carefully .... just need to put more into practice rather than keep searchin' and studying about it

Anyway ... to the point:

I enjoy being a Dom .... I find it very fullfilling, but I've also liked the idea of being a sub sometimes ... switch being an obvious choice. My wife wants to remain a sub .... is uncomfortable with the thought of being a Domme ... she REALLY loves me being her Dom ... it fit's VERY well into our lives .... she might like to switch oneday ... but no time soon.

So I was wondering .. is it common for me to say I had a Mistress and have a sub too? .... Kinda like a higharchy? I think though this will be sometime down the road .. as to not complicate things.

Who cares what's common? What's good and right for you is what's important. However, there are those who have both Dominant and submissive, yes, and they're as often *not* the same person as they are the opposite. Some of us just aren't comfy switching. Don't hate us for our limitations, please, and don't pity us, either...
