The 2022 Geek Pride Story Event: Official Support Page

The Gate - A New Green Man Appears has just been submitted. 27,550 words and really, really... odd. I've never tried to fanfic an anime or light novel before, and it is soooooo addicting! I honestly don't think I wrote it, it wrote itself, I just provided the keyboard and the coffee. A second story based on the same characters and twice as long, just might make it in time... unless I can figure out how to split it into two complete stories.

My 14,500-word story "The User Guide" is done, and I'll polish it over the next day or two before submitting. I'm also waiting for the wife to finish her review.

Done and edited @ 23,000 words. Will spend a few days polishing and filling in some areas.

But I had an idea that I've never seen done on LIT before. I'm tempted to include it.o_O

Buckshot Ranch - A modern-day western with just a tinge of the paranormal. Ok, a lot of paranormal. LOL.
I threw some paranormal in my V-day entry and the readers in Romance seemed to like it. I've upped the quotient!
If it's anything like your last western I read, it will be a fun pageturner. And I'm not a western guy. :)

Alrighty! Barring any major screw-ups on my part, this year's Geek Pride entry is in the bag. "Red Tsonia & The Witch In The Dark", co-written by LoquiSordidaAdMe, is now in the queue. Around 32,000 words full of swords, sand and high adventure!

Well, my Geek Pride story is done and ready to post in EC. Taken over two years from initial concept to now, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

"We're Sluts for Stats"

Three uni students embark on a project to determine the current average Australian penis size for males between 20 - 24 and its application to the condom industry...

My Geek Pride Story has been approved.

This is my 1st Contest Entry, since I started writing for the site.

I went back and forth on whether or not to have a Heel or Babyface ending.

It's a common misconception, but Geek Pride is NOT a contest. Just a bunch of writers, hanging out and having fun with a common theme.

I dropped another story for Geek Pride - The Gate - Elvish has Left, continuing the adventures of Stefan and his Elven bride Lelu in the land of Anime characters and in-jokes. 31,100 words. That's nearly 60,000 words in the same world and I have enough steam for a third tale, which will have to wait for a after Geek Pride 2022

"Geek Pride: Twins" is submitted and approved and should drop with everything else on the 25th.

It's in Mature, because, why not. My originally planned entry would've been in NonHuman, but it was too much of a sequel. So I'll drop that one of these days on its own.

I finished my latest changes to "The User Guide - a Geek Pride Story" (almost 15K words) and submitted it to pending for the Loving Wives haters to bash

Description: Wife plays poker with geek squad after reading user guide.

Is that a user guide for poker or a user guide to geeks?
The story is about the geek husband writing a user guide for handling his wife's sex needs.

My wife often tells me I need to document things like TV remote and others in our house in case I'm not around. So, I ran with that as an idea for the story.

The poker game comes later after she reviews his guide describing her, and the part where he set up a group of friends for on-call assistance for sex, when needed.

Cute. I was tickled by it as it reminded me of my parents agreeing to babysit if I wrote a user manual for the baby and later the kids. So for a decade there was a manual with an upgrade every year or so.

Kids and parents both survived...

Looking forward to this one going live. It started from a suggestion by @NewOldGuy77 at least six months ago and took a while to get wholly written. I really enjoy the way the characters turned out and I hope others will too =]

Can't wait to see it -- what's the premise?
Thanks for the interest =]

The premise is that an autocorrect fail in a text message turns a co-working relationship sexual. An engineer and her tech realize they want to be partners outside the lab too!

Okay, I submitted.

i have 3800 words of a D&D bard who's seduced by a girl. It's my first First Time story so we'll see how that goes.

I can't wait to read the other stories!

Oooo, a workplace romance! Definitely curious to see how this plays out. Just two more days!

I got one more in under the wire, The Gate - Going Home. Three anime fan-fic stories based on the same world, my current favorite Anime, Gate. You really can't get any geekier than that. I even worked in a bossy dragon and a horny mother-in-law.

My running total: One World, Two Months, Three Stories, 85,000 words and I love my stories, I just hope someone else does too

The Gate - A New Green Man Appears
The Gate - Elvish has Left
The Gate - Going Home

I managed to get mine in by the skin of my teeth yesterday, and it's going up today in Incest/Taboo, 'Triple Fun for the Triplets'. It's about three girl triplets, consisting of a set of identical mirror image twins and their very different fraternal sister, who have a lot of fun on a vacation to Australia with their older brother and male and female cousin, these cousins double first cousins for good measure.

You rarely see triplet stories, so it will be interesting to see if the IT readers like it.
