Those are figs. They appear to have been cut in half, arranged in a baking dish, and glazed, likely with honey, as figs don't usually glisten like that. They may be about to be roasted with some rosemary--or have just been roasted with rosemary sprigs.
Delicious. Figs, honey and a bit of goat's cheese is a marvelous dessert.
And very apropos. Figs do have that resemblance to a certain part of a woman's anatomy.
Thanks for enlightening me! The figs, honey and goat's cheese dessert sounds lovely. Have to admit the only figs I've ever tried were in Fig Newtons.
