I am sorry that you feel that way, it is the ultimate truth however. I feel that people are wasting very valuable time thinking otherwise. It is really a shame. This life is so incredibly short to worry about things as beauty and so forth.FurryFury said:I love you but, I don't see it that way!

When we were younger, we could stand and look in the mirror for hours, admiring our bodies, just the way we were created. Until one evil person came along and told us to stop being vain. Society has programmed us not to see our beauty.
I for one, will not be influenced in that way, I refuse!!!
And now I am going to get waxed, just to fit in.

I was just talking with someone who told me this about roses:
"The orginal strand of roses, which go back to the dinosaurs, use to be carnivores. There were different types, but most had hollow thorns to siphon the blood into their stems and buds. "
Is this true? How cool a story regardless but I'm just so curious!

Vampire Roses? the mind reels with the possible B movie plots.
From what I have read, they don't quite make it back to the Dinosaurs but they are about 30-35 million years old and that in itself is exceptional. Just Like you Fury.

Yes, the waxing was indeed cool. Too bad my regular lady was not there, so no "bonus" this time...
I just wanted to touch on something we were talking about earlier, and that is the following:
I seem to remember your posting that you are a mother as well. I am not sure how old your sweetheart(s) is but, if possible, I think it would be a good idea, if not for you then for them for sure, to do the mirror thing with them on a regular basis.
I have a little girl who (as any other person) is being influenced by the media, society, fears, etc. and I have noticed that whenever we do that -- stand naked in front of a mirror, admiring our own bodies -- it just does her confidence level and self-esteem so much good.
Try it and see what it will do for you and your loved ones. Nothing bad can come from it, not even in America!
I just hate seing people wasting all that energy that can be used for good instead.
I hope that you don't feel that I am intruding, or lecturing, I mean well. And maybe, just maybe, I am dead wrong on this.

You are NOT dead wrong IMO. I have tried to teach my kids that their bodies are not only beautiful but rather magical the way they can often heal themselves. Nudity around our house is common. I didn't want them to feel the way that I was raised to about my body.
However I do not stand in front of a mirror nude with my kids. They are of an age that I don't think they are comfortable looking at me or vice versa and that is okay. Although there are times one will actually ask me to look at something of course and tell them if it's okay, swollen or what have you.
I think I've done a pretty good job with them. Maybe in one case too good.

Jakarta Indonesia, 5 star hotels, in room massage, 24 hr's a day. for roughly $40, you get an incredible 1 hour massage, topped off with a better hand job than you can give yourself - don't worry ladies, they have men do work their finger magic for the ladies - lots & lots of oil as well (Hyatt hotel & Meridian are at the top of the list).

Which you should not be, Fury. You have done a good job with them if you have that kind of openness. If this country hadn't been founded on Puritan principles, we'd all be better off. No wonder they couldn't find anywhere to stay in Europe.
