The ladies of lit's amateur pic 2007 calendar

I was just wondering if there are any graphic artists here that can help up make the calendar??

I'm pretty good at doing stuff in Painter 7... you'd probably want someone that can do Photoshop well, but if you need resizing, it's easier with the program I have. So maybe I'm your gal on sizing them to fit in a certain amount of space. :)

There is also the freeware photoshop like program called gimp http://www.gimp.org maybe we could do a babe a day style calender.
we just need to get 30 or so ladies each month :D

Or if that seems a little overwhelming, maybe a Lady of the Week?

An idea that's in my head is something like the top half of the calendar could be 1 person and on the bottom half, where the actual calendar is, you could put a different picture at the beginning of each week and/or fill up the empty squares with pictures.

Just, uh, was offering a suggestion. Nevermind.
I never said it was bad! dont get me wrong I like the idea!

just need someone to make it

I have some experience with graphics as I love to make banners and avatars and such. I'm sure there many here who are more qualified but I had to put in an offer to help as I think this is an excellent idea!

I am curious about how it will work. If digital, was the plan to use an existing program to create the calendars? Since what the program would accept would be crucial to how things would work. Or was the plan to just make it a wallpaper-sized image for each month that could be changed manually? Or... ?

Don't mind my nosiness. I love little projects like this so it got my brain working on how it will work.
At any rate, please count me in if there is anything I can do to help.

I think the calanders are a great idea... count me in in any way I can help... even if it is just a pic or two... :nana:

Just thought I'd jump on this little bandwagon...I think it sounds like an excellent idea :D

A few more thoughts:

  • So far we have enough ladies for one calendar. Maybe we should set an end date for joining up, and after that point we can start to talk about how many editions we should have?
  • The calander should be provided in a PDF format for printing, and in a jpg format, so people can use it as wall paper on their computer
  • everybody that's interested in being in the calender are very welcome
  • It's of course going to be free!
  • once we have the different editions figured out, we can start to find out who will have what month. I suggest that people can let us know what month they would like to be, and then if there are more that would like the same month, I'll put the names down on bits of paper, and pick a winner.
  • Maybe the picture for each month should have a theme?

Great idea!!! Definitely set a deadline for entries, and then have a bunch of people add a link to their sig line for pic donations. Themes are a great idea... for example: Santa Hat & Red Undies for December, Hearts for February... etc. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. :D

I'm keen on the idea of publishing each in their birth month. Would be a good reminder for showering them with adulations and gifts!

Wow, there's only 12 months and so many ladies. You are asking for an uproar here Shyguy! ;)

But it sounds like a good idea to me too. Might have to do different versions, and maybe include a Men's addition as well? Just a suggestion, since not everything appeals to everyone.

My thoughts might go,

Lady's Edition
Men's Edition
BBW Edition

'scuse me!!! Are us BBWs not ladies????? A girl could get quite offended you know.

How would the boys feel if we suggested the following:-

Men's Edition
Small dick's Edition

I wouldn't dream of catagorising men by dick size so why should a calendar define us by size. And yes I am a BBW and also a Lady!!!

I am sorry Blue, I didn't mean any offense, I am also a BBW.

Just wanted to make sure everyone got a year full of what they prefer. Definately not wanting us to feel less of a woman, in fact, I think we deserve our own version. :nana: Just cuz we are so hot.

i have to agree but i guess if people want to weed us out, then go ahead.

I am sorry ladies, I don't mean to make you feel different, or less...

Its a bad idea if so many are feeling upset over it.... I would rather have everyone feeling good and sexy, cuz we all are.

If skinny defines 'regular', then no, I don't want you in there. I want REAL women in my calendar. I want curvy, I want full-figured, I want rubenesque. I want women in my calendar I can truly appreciate for their natural, non surgically-enhanced looks.

Of course, if I had my way, You'd be my cover model, my centerfold, and on every other month of the year. I'm that selective. Or is it greedy?

Just my humble opinion.

:rose: for you, just because.

I agree, I think most men want to see modern day, beautiful women, which, most of the time (I'd say close to 80%) is a woman with curves... I think that men these days appreciate a curvaceous woman more than us women think they do. I enjoy having curves, I love showing them off, and I know that it's not just men that enjoy seeing it, either. We should all be proud of our curves and know that we're not falling into the hollow society's version of the modern day "model". If someone called me a BBW, I'd take that as a huge compliment, and would be proud of it. :) When do we get our VS commercials, ladies? :nana:

What's mentioned above is a major reason why I love renaissance faires. In that time of history, curvy women were the norm. Those that weren't had to pad places, hence bodices and bum rolls. Of course the bodices existed because bras didn't, and believe me, I wish bodices were still the only thing out there.

If I ever saw you and had the courage to talk to you, I'd say wow, what a beautiful woman. Notice the first 'b' isn't there. It's not relevant in my world. Is every woman beautiful in her own way? Yes. Does every woman, curvy or not, catch my attention? Of course not. I'd never get anything done or be killed by some jealous s/o if every woman did.
