The ladies of lit's amateur pic 2007 calendar

I think it's a great idea personally.

And I have quite a bit of experience with Graphics, so if you need help, I am sure I could help out.

Now how about you being in the calendar as well? ;)

You're quite welcome :)

I could be open to being in it, :) :) though I am sure there are much sexier women around here for it.

All the ladies (and gents) of lit are welcome to be in the calendar. The idea is that it's going to be a calendar with everyday women and men, not one with supermodels! So go here to add your name!

And in my opinion, you are damn hot!! ;)

Well thank you, I'm off to sign up now then :)

When we get to that point, have you decided how you want the pictures submitted?

Do you want more than one? Maybe a couple of different poses from each so that artistic decisions can be made about not having all the poses look the same on every page of the calendar?

Will also need input from the graphics person on what minimum size the pic should be to avoid a grainy final image because it was blown up too much.

Just a few thoughts. :D

Legalities

Great idea!

Now, just coming from my background in working in an Attorney's office... I suggest having a statement on any released calendar saying it is Literotica's property and that people can't sell it, etc etc.

Am I being stupid, is that a given?

fantastic idea, but who gets to pick...or did you already have the list sg?

can we vote?

or better ..can I take about 20 men and 20 women down to jamaica or fiji for a photoshoot...then whoever takes the best shots (onherface!) wins?

(other calender ideas reflected in pic threads , panties of 06, lips of 06, packaged meat of 06, bra shots of 06, etc. this could be interesting)

lets do it!

Already been to Jamacia but if you want to try me out in Figi...COUNT ME IN  :catroar: :D

'scuse me!!! Are us BBWs not ladies????? A girl could get quite offended you know.

How would the boys feel if we suggested the following:-

Men's Edition
Small dick's Edition

I wouldn't dream of catagorising men by dick size so why should a calendar define us by size. And yes I am a BBW and also a Lady!!!

LOL!!!!!!!! FUNNY and RIGHT ON! :D

Did I miss when the deadline is to submit pics?
(I haven't committed to anything, but I wanted to know how long I have to think about it.)

Now, I can see the point made here, however I think the BBW edition is still a very good idea. I don't think it is sorting out the "bad" from the "good" (you define which are which ;c), but rather a way of making room for more ladies since there seemed to be an abundance of volunteers as well as making sure that everyone gets the most of what suits their taste.

Personally, I only signed up to be in a BBW edition. I don't think I would be up for the "regular" edition if that is the only option.

So When Does This Go Down?

We Should Attempt To Get The First Two Editions Out In Time For Christmas!

We Need To Get A Layout Happening....

It's All About Lit Chicks And Dudes....Catagorizing It Is Interesting, But I Think It Should Just Be Staggard...Voluptuous, Thin, Blond, Brunette, Big Boobs, Little Boobs...Ya Know?

I Can Lend Any Hand Needed, Eh:D

Anyone with a Mac and the latest version of iPhoto can make a very professional looking calendar in a few minutes. Here's a sample page I made when someone suggested I create a calendar of the shots on my own thread:

Phil's January calendar

This could obviously be resized to any resolution, but I urge you to remember that if you are going to create a printable version that the dimensions are going to be so large that a 12-month calendar will be well over 5MB and possibly as much as 20MB - quite a download for anyone with a dial-up connection.

Ekserb, that looks fantastic!

Thanks, Mona!

Like I said, this type of calendar can be created easily by anyone with a Mac and iPhoto '06 or better. All you have to do is drag images from your iPhoto library onto the various placeholders in the calendar. You can even drag photos onto the individual days and they are cropped to fit.

The results can be uploaded to iPhoto's online printing service and any number of calendars may be ordered, but I have a feeling the kind of photos that mightbe included for this calendar might not be appropriate under the User License Agreement. LOL. The Mac OS has a provision for saving any printable file (the calendars are printable, too) as a PDF, so the PDF file could be forwarded to everyone who wants one and they could print it themselves. The PDF could also be converted to JPEGs for display on a computer screen.

I was struck by the suggested division as well. I would figure if there would be a BBW calendar that there would also be a BHM edition. I am honest enough with myself to acknowledge that I am fairly large. I also know that some women (and men ;) ) appreciate that.

I know I fall into the group of men that appreciate curves on women. I still can't figure out the whole 'Paris Hilton' thing, I personally think she's just boney and malnurished.

Just a little off-topic, but I have to say I'd probably be attracted to Paris Hilton ... if she had half a brain in her head. Nothing is less sexy than stupidity.

Now, if she had the brain of a rocket scientist, I'd still be a little put off by the wasted look, but at least we'd be able to have a conversation.

I think it should not be considered insulting... to separate "voluptuous" kind of women from "slim" ones. Men are able to start a flame war on amount of curves they like... and don't appreciate extremes in opposite directions.

From what I know most men prefer curvy girls, and on this site there are enough to fill a calendar by themselves. What I doubt is exactly the opposite. Will there be enough slim girls to do the alternative calendar? And enough boys to appreciate that?

As a member of the minority group appreciating the "Paris Hilton" shape, I never found a vast amount of amateurs pics, since BBW are obviously enjoying more the exibition of their body, and are vastly appreciated by most users here.

Said that... just stop this useless competition between beautyful girls and beautyful girls, both have their charme, and we only should be happy to enjoy the show.

I just want to set the record straight about what men (and women) like and what men say they like.

I think you'll find that most on this site will say they prefer women with curves, because that's the majority of the women on this site. Now, we can go into a long discussion about the reasons for this, but we could also assume that the majority of internet users are not the types of people that stand in line waiting to get into the hottest club on South Beach every weekend. In other words, we are typically less than model-perfect.

A lot of people are going to argue that we reflect the average American - a few extra pounds in the middle and happy to see it on others, but the truth is that most people do not prefer to see this body type in other people. How do I know this? Look at American advertizing. How many "thick" women do you see on billboards and in commercials? Almost none. Not even a small representational percentage. The one time in recent memory that an ad campaign tried to use "real women" was a couple of years ago with the Dove Firming ads. Those women were not fat, but certainly not slim, and no retouching was done to the models' skin. The ads ran for a short time and now where are they? Gone. No replacement campaign. No more real girls. Back to the skinny models. And why is that? Because they didn't sell soap.

Had those ads been a hit with average American women, they'd still be in constant use. (They didn't stop the campaign because it was making money, after all!)

So, we know that those ads represented the average American woman, and we know that the ads didn't sell the product. I think it's safe to assume that even women with curves don't want to buy products sold by other women with curves. People (men and women) would rather look at slim model types.

Of course, these are general statements, and I'm sure that no one on this forum will agree with them because we are all so politically correct that even thinking like this will get me flamed, but I thought it was interesting enough to discuss.

(By the way, if this topic causes you to look up the ads, I hope you'll see that the fair-skinned blond they used was seriously cute.)

Any news on when pics need to be submitted...and how...and how many....?
Just curious as to what I need to do... :D
