What did you dream? Tell it in five sentences or fewer.

That I had disappointed someone and didn't know how that had happened. I spent most of the dream asking if XYZ was the reason he was disappointed in me. I was anxious that on top of disappointing him, I'd also annoy him with my questions so much that he'd leave me and never want anything to do with me anymore.

I don't know what's causing it but I've had nightmares almost every night for about 2 weeks straight. Two in particular stood out so much that they've ended up in my long-term memory.

Last night was at least 1 nightmare but also another dream about buying my favourite cereal which was nice.

I was on my way to work and saw the tram coming to the stop. I started to run so that I’d catch it. It felt really difficult to run. I looked down at my feet and realized I’ve turned into a penguin.

I made dessert and it turned out horrible. I watched people eat it and felt mortified.

What I really don’t understand is why I didn’t just tell them not to eat it because it turned out so bad.

I was eating Keebler deluxe graham cookies. Man, they were fucking good.

I’m afraid of what this may mean.

I was at a large, labyrinthine house, hosting a packed party of artists, musicians and writers, and their families. I met one of my old girlfriends and we talked and flirted at some length. I noticed a massive rock climbing wall in a central room. I declared that I was going to climb it before turning and saying, “fuck no, the last thing I want to do is climb that thing.”

I peed my pants while climbing a ladder and trying to open a lock so that I could escape a pack of angry dogs. Someone I’m into (although really shouldn’t) was on another ladder nearby and saw that I peed my pants and laughed at me. :(

That we got snow, and I had a visit from my niece.

Very disappointed when I woke up to no snow

I found a really good apartment that was also affordable. Big windows and wide window sills, bakery next door, great location and just all around perfect. The catch was that twice a month I’d have to let secret lovers use it to meet up and I’d have to leave them refreshments, towels and everything else they might need for their get together. It’d be a different couple or group every time, they’d text me beforehand their needs. I could either be home while they’re there or I could leave them alone, it was up to me.

I woke up trying to decide if I should buy it or not.

I met someone I haven’t met for a while and in a place that’s important to me. They disapproved of the place and what’s become of me since we last met. Unnerving.

The almost exact opposite of the dream above.

Met someone I haven’t seen for a very long time and it was such a happy reunion. We had so much to talk and couldn’t stop hugging. It was so lovely and I wish I could have stayed asleep longer, but waking up was really sad because we can’t ever meet again.

Bittersweet.

It was an action/adventure where I had to team up with a SWAT team of Francois Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac, and Angela Merkel to rescue a hijacked cruise ship. Only none of them spoke English (which seems unlikely), so I could only communicate with them with my extremely rusty German and my even rustier French. We did not save the day.

It was a very erotic dream where I was with my lover in a hotel.. I rode him in the hot tub, water splashing everywhere.. and afterwards, he dried me off with a huge towel and cuddled me in the bed. Hot and sweet :)

I hosted a Lit-together at my work. I was wearing lingerie but everyone else had regular clothes on and I kept trying to figure out when I can sneak out and go buy some clothes. I couldn’t because it was a lot of work to keep people from going to places where they’re not supposed to go and whenever I had herded everyone back and was about to go shopping, someone wanted a drink or to go to the bathroom - I had to take them there because I couldn’t let anyone go alone.

Primalex had a pet mouse in his shirt pocket that almost escaped several times, cookie had really long hair and was considering dreads (everyone said she shouldn’t do it), Kim wore purple glasses (as in the lenses were purple) and then I saw someone from my work join and tell that he, too, is a litster. It was pure horror, even more so because he started to talk about work and kept telling people about covered bonds and that he had spotted a mistake in Macaulay’s duration formula and fixed it and how that’s going change the world and he’s going to get a Nobel. I was so embarrassed to a) learn he’s a litster b) have him ruin the party by talking about work and c) be in my weird lingerie in front of everyone and not be able to go buy real clothes.

It was a lot, guys. I won’t be hosting a Lit-together any time soon.

I have a reoccurring dream where I lose my car. It's obvious in the dream that it wasn't stolen but that I just don't know where it is.

Sexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsex.
And then some more sexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsex.
With a side of sexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsex.

It's spring!

This is my wife’s dream from last night.

I am eating her ass from behind on all fours. One of her old friends is watching us through the window. Then there was a soccer riot between Wolves supporters and West Ham United just outside the house. Then she woke up.

I was in some kind of a sport event on a big arena and tried to buy ice cream on the concession stand. They only had cups, no cones, and they were out of spoons. I woke up trying to decide if just licking it out of a cup makes me look too desperate for ice cream and if it’s be embarrassing.

I was in a strange city. My truck was stolen. In my dream, my wallet, my cell phone, and my medications were all in the truck. Not a nightmare, but close enough.

I somehow ended up in DC and while I was just wandering the streets, I found an artsy thing where you were given a key and it could be used up to five times to open a door to a smaller or bigger room with an installation or something else artsy and cool. In the first room I opened was a friend of mine reciting poems and she was really happy to see me because I was the first one to come in for days and she asked me to smuggle her out of there. I covered her with my jacket and put a collar and leash on her and told her that it was the only way to get out. We went to another room and there was a kiosk selling fridge magnets and burgers shaped like Finnish sports team logos. When my friend saw that, she wanted to stay there and not come with me anymore, so I left her there and continued checking out the rooms. In the third room I lost my phone and ran into someone I know from Twitter, but he thought I was just someone pretending to be me to prank him and asked me to send him a tweet there and then so that he could see it happening - no phone so I couldn’t.

What a strange dream.

That was more than five sentences. :)

I had a pet koala. I tried to find eucalyptus in the park next door to feed my koala. Unsurprisingly there wasn't any. Very stressful.

I was resting on the floor of an abandoned house during a cool winter evening. A stranger came downstairs to light a fire in the fireplace in the same room where I was. Something was blocking the chimney, so he reached up and pulled down a one-eyed dog covered in soot. The dog came over to me, and stretched his sooty body out on my sleeping bag.
