Don't you hate that? I have nine stories up. Eight of them are rating pretty well, but one of them is languishing barely above a 4. And that one has gotten the best comments and private messages of any of my stories. I guess 3/4 of the way through a series and you go out on a limb, you sometimes get wacked.

But, yeah, I assume that the "one bombs" are from readers who read something that touched an unresolved issue with them and they lashed out.

I don't get it. But I'm such a softie!! I have yet to give less than a 5!! If I wasn't a huge fan of a story, I just don't rate it and move on. I don't think anyone wants my unsolicited review!! And certainly not an insult!!!
