Whats everyone doing today?

Denae, one word for your anti-clutter movement: ebay!!!

Sounds like a fun day, when you are done come over and help me unclutter too, please?

Have a wonderful day Den :rose:

I'm next in line for a de-cluttering, Denae! I've been shredding all my pre-approved credit card offers this afternoon. For every handful I shred, I find two more handfuls lurking about.

I also played the piano for a while this afternoon. Very badly,I might add.

i unexpectedly bought a pair of sneakers. :) it was time to retire the two year old pair i've been kickin' around in... but i rarely wear sneakers so they last a good while.

At least you let them live a good shelf life. I have a friend who likes white sneakers and she probably goes through at least two dozen a year. One smudge of dirt and they're considered filthy. I'm going to have to work on her at least putting them in a goodwill bin because there's easily 6 months of living to be done in those things.

I'm a shred-aholic. I do it every day when I open the mail so that it doesn't build up on me. Then once or twice a year I go through my filing and see what else I can get rid of.

Let's see, I've crossed off two of my to-do items.

The yoga mat is now mine, mine mine. But it came out of my pocket as my $50 American Express gift card wouldn't work.

I also got to talk to my friend for awhile before we were rudely interrupted by the idiot upstairs. What part of I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOUR FUCKING MUSIC do they not understand? At least the leasing office is going to jump right on it.

At 4 p.m. I'm going to watch the Top Chef finale that I couldn't stay awake for on Wednesday night. Can't wait for season two. For any other Top Chef fans, take a look at the official website and read the blogs of two of the judges.

there's a really fantastic sneaker cleaner on the market but i can't remember what it's called or who makes it. it comes in a glass jar that LOOKS like white shoe polish but it's actually cleaner and restores sneakers to like-new condition with very little effort.

i used to get this in one of the athletic shoe stores (foot locker or something like that) and used it religiously but haven't looked for it lately... must still be available though.

ya know, when I burn out my current shredder (which is not my first) I think I'll send the bill for a new one to CapitalOne. I'll be I've shredded a couple of trees worth from them.
this reminds me of an investigative report my local news did a few days ago. they rummaged through about 11 unsecured dumpsters outside businesses and pulled a room's worth of documents that could be used to steal identities (soc. numbers, dob's, addy's, etc.). the law says that if you are in a business that requires you to keep this type of information from your clients then you have to dispose of it properly. apparently most aren't.

my son is going to the prom tonight, so today I'm stressing. that's about it: stressing.
you told him the proper way to spike the punch, right?

Apparently, I am posting my brains out here. You lucky, lucky people.

Other than that, I am finishing up a quilt top, and later on I am thinking about making some chocolate chip peanut butter chip cookies.

Do peanut butter chips have a shelf life? These have been up in the cupboard for months. Darn! Guess I'll have to make the big sacrifice and eat a few. Just to make sure. ;)

My next door neighbor is having a garage sale,so I`ll probably pace my front yard with my pistol in hand, yelling at people to not fucking park in my driveway.Inconsiderate motherfuckers!
Later,I`ll be picking up my son when he finishes taking his SAT exam.
This afternoon I`ll be painting one of my many cars.

Today I am going to continue not to scratch myself. While doing that, I'm going to be visiting the grandparents, unfortunately. And helping my mom with the cake she is making for the party tonight, and getting my pants pinned so I can take them in. And then tonight is my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary party. Oh yeah, and I've got to pack up my stuff again. I'm going back home tomorrow.

Today I went to my 5-year-old's soccer picnic. Then we visited my mom and grandma.

In a little bit, I'm going to log off and watch the Women's College World Series.

I've been hanging around here all morning, not much happening, time to go outside and get ready for the two calves that are coming in a few days, then try and grab a few hours sleep before I start work at 8 tonight.

Since I won't be here tomorrow, I'll give you my anticipated list of events for Friday.

1-Write a negative evaluation, including a definitive non-recommendation, of my current trainee (who also happens to be the same trainee I had for three weeks in Feb/March).

2-Train two trainees for two overlapping hours tomorrow. Out with the bad, in with the new (I hope).

3-Drink or, in the alternative, go to bed early.

I hope everyone here has a much more positive and productive day than I.

Good luck tomorrow Den :rose: Will this be a relief for you? I'll keep my fingers crossed for this to be a positive change!

Hmmmm...tomorrow, Work, lunch, play (and put up with someone I really can't stand at work but, in a more social setting) I will be biting my tongue so damn hard that I might not be able to talk for a few days. Wish me luck!

I should be doing housework.

In an hour or so, I'll be going to the Y to work out; my oldest kids have been doing day camp at the Y this week, so I suppose I'll bring them home with me.

Don't know what we'll do this evening.

It's been a day filled with 4 or 5 of the Seven Deadly Sins, primarily sloth.

i sense the slightest bit of reluctance or indecision in this phrase. :D

I bought a birthday gift for my 7-year-old niece, and a graduation gift for another niece.

Did my morning deliveries then unsuccesfully (so far) tried to fix a friends pc. (But I did fix one yesterday, that scored me a free massage next week.)
Brought the damn thing home with me to play with later, settling down to a lunch of tomato soup, toast and a meat pie.
