Yes, she had to be at the hospital for 0540. With the operation due to take most of the working day, they wanted to get started ASAP.

Just had an update from Sassy's husband. She is still in surgery but a nurse has been on the phone with him and said that everything is going well. He says the doctor had said earlier that if he was to encounter any major issues it'd be in the first 1-2 hours but nothing has been mentioned in the update so that's good news.

I'll let you know more when I get it.

I heard from her daughter too at the same time. She's able to go see her in an hour and a half and said she'll send a message then. I'm always wiped out after surgeries so I imagine Sassy will be absolutely zonked for the next 24 hours or so after a mammoth surgery like that.

Today has gone so slowly and I have to be up super early so I'm going to get my head down. Catch you all later.
