I'm sure trying. I've lost a lot of weight and it's making me weak.
They are weaning me of the pain pills. They are afraid they are doing more harm then good.
It's been pretty miserable. Little things tire me out right now.

Well. I had a CT scan on Friday. I asked them to not give me the results until I get back from vacation. I'm worried this time and cancer had already made 2 of our trips a downer. We do this Oregon coast vacation every year in January. There's 9 of us here. The one time our whole family spends a few days together.
The beach is wonderful. My son in law has been watching me like a hawk and insists on carrying me around on his back.

It seems like there are a lot of Litsters dealing with the big C. I am stage 4 myself, so I understand weeks like that. Seems Like I'll have weeks where there are 4 or 5 appts in four days and then the next week there will be nothing but physical therapy.

Not sure exactly which beast you are wrestling, Sassy. But I wish nothing but strength, love and healing energy to you while you fight our foe.

Okay. Firstly. Thankfully I did make it to the Kraken game. They did not play well. But I didn't care. It felt nice to get out.

I will book the cruise once we hear back from the company and find out if I can do the money back thing. Is it bad that I'm afraid of one of the stops? I'd stay on the cruise ship for this one. But it does make me nervous. (Haiti)

Ask anything you like there are no stupid questions. No. I'm not sure it isn't a combo of the meds I am taking. But. I wasn't on all these when the pain started either. But in December I will have another person taking a look at my meds to see if there is something we need to change.

Extensive. No. My daughter and I have done a lot of googling though. I make a list to ask my Doctor when I see him.
I can say that doing that cleanse. The day after. I felt better than I have in a while, and this is a big part of why I think it is more GI related. I notice patterns. I'm often okay pain wise in the morning until I eat. I rarely drink coffee anymore. Regular coffee is too much. Decaf is what I go for when I do.

I have a follow up with the Nutritionist next week. I know tomorrow when I see the doctor he is going to shit twinkies when he sees my weight.

I had some experience with this. During the first six months I was on Chemo I went from 215 lbs to 153 lbs. Played havoc with me mentally. I didn't want to lose weight but I just had zero zero zero appetite. Thankfully, I was back up to 187 at my most recent appt.

I did an amazing job of being active there. I was honestly proud of myself. Reminder that I'm only 92 pounds which has made me super weak. My son in law was a total caretaker with me. Everywhere we went he offered me piggyback rides. This was on the way back from the beach.
My daughter jumped on his back later on. He carried her a little ways then put her down. "You're heavier then your mom" my daughter is very skinny btw.
I couldn't help but laugh.
