Day 16: A song with a womanโ€™s name in it
One sprang to mind immediately, then I started second guessing with others. But, I'm gonna stick with the first one, which actually mentions two women's names, since it was the first that sprang to mind, even though neither are mentioned in the title.

Sarah (from Texas) in the first verse.
Nikki (from Detroit) in the second.

Layla - Derek and the Dominos (I always thought it was just Eric Clapton until my parents schooled me during name that tuneโ€ฆcheaters, cause that shouldโ€™a still counted!!)

It is their one hit, so it is a One Hit Wonder.

Living Next Door to Alice -Smokie
I always have questions with this song. This is a guy who is so in love with this woman who lives right next door, has been for over 24 years, but he seems shockingly uninformed on major portions of her life. He doesn't know where, or why she is moving, which she apparently decided to do that morning as he just found out. So no yard sign? Or does he just pay no attention whatsoever? If so, that would explain why he never told her of his unrequited love and why she maybe gave up on him. Also, why is she moving away in a limousine? Is she insanely wealthy, so this is normal? And did Sally orchestrate all of this?

I have questions!

I love Nickel Creek, and I love this song. It starts out like a sweet love song, but as it goes it gets far more interesting as you slowly find out more about the nice guy singing it.

"Helena (live),' Nickel Creek

The song is about a cheating man who gets what he deserves. But, Chris Thile is a talented gem of a man.
