🎡 Monthly Song Challenge 🎡

Happy new year everyone! It’s been a great year of music sharing. Thank you to everyone who participates.
Please forgive my ignorance, but how does a new theme get chosen please? More to the point, how can I see what today's, or upcoming, theme(s) is/are? Not saying I'll necessarily be participating that often, because I have YouTube blocked which makes it a bit tricky.

1st page of this thread has the list of prompts for the month.

Day 7: A song for a cold day

Sitting and chilling w my mom who is in hospice. She’s an amazing lady and tough as nails.

This was/is one of her favorite sayings… I have to thank her for my love of music.

Cold Hands/Warm Heart

Hospice is one of those things that I have a deep appreciation for, even as I know there's a sadness that can permeate the place. Hope you are finding comfort in the time you have with her.

Day 7: A song for a cold day

Gather round, kids, and let me tell you about the time in history when John Mayer was just a young songwriter with a guitar and a little bit of white boy soul. Before all the famous girlfriends and the Taylor Swift-ing and the 'look ma, I'm a blues man!' stuff. This is the closer on the first record, released when he was first getting airplay for 'No Such Thing' (so even before Your Body is a Wonderland turned John Mayer into JOHN MAYER). And it's a beautiful song, and this stripped down version of it is so, so perfect for what I think of when I think of a cold day.
