Pink Floyd: Another brick in the wall part 1
Day 8: A song that is a Pt1 or Pt2
My mom passed away yesterday afternoon. The last 1.5 days were very difficult and trying for her. Now she is in a much better place and in no pain.
She was 95 and born in rural Indiana in a very conservative home.
Altho I would have played James Browns Payback pts 1/2, my mom was a (sort of) religious woman. So this feels much more fitting. Justin Hinds did many ska, rocksteady and reggae interpretations of many spirituals.
Justin Hinds and The Dominoes - Mighty Redeemer Pt1. (1971). Love this old scratchy version from a record.
There aren't words that fit except thank you for sharing. I hope you peace.Day 8: A song that is a Pt1 or Pt2

Thank you for sharing this. I echo what others before me have already said. Although recent times have obviously been painful, it sounds as though you have lots of lovely and loving memories.Day 8: A song that is a Pt1 or Pt2
